Wonderful information about how the economy developed from the first boat with 1500 convicts. England did the world a favor by sending them. Our guide’s love for history was very evident!! A must tour!

Justin was a great guide and gave our small group a good history of Sydney and how it got to be the city it now is. We walked at a leisurely pace for 3 hours and covered almost all of the CBD, stopping to learn about the significance of various areas and throughout Justin name dropped a lot of restaurants and bars that we should investigate further. We finished with a beer and a view of the Opera House and a good discussion of future plans and what options were available -

Justin was an incredible tour guide! Very knowledgeable about the history & culture of the city. He made it very interesting & we learned a lot. It is 3 hours of walking, so be prepared. We were not rushed but there isn’t a lot of time to stop & take leisurely photos. It’s a great tour if you have a limited amount of time, as we did. It’s also a great initial tour for a visit since Justin highlights many places to go back to & spend more time. Highly recommend this tour!

If you like History then this is the tour. It was very informative and progressed through the History of Australia from the arrival of the British up to the present day. It was a really nice easy walk looking at some iconic Sydney buildings and seeing places to visit on another day. Michael was a very knowledgeable man who brought our tour to life and with good interaction with our group, it was a real pleasure.

We had an excellent tour guide Michael. He confirmed meeting information the day before, he had a welcoming smile, his knowledge of Australia was extensive, we had sufficient breaks, as it was a 3 and half walking tour found the information on the Aboriginal community so interesting, we had a drink at the end and could ask more questions, and he send us more helpful information on where to visit, he went over and beyond, and it was extra special as it my birthday, what a treat.

We covered a lot of ground in just under 4 hours including the botanical garden, business district, and the rocks. Our guide was knowledgeable in all the areas visited. Good choice upon arrival into Sydney or like us if you only have 1-day to visit.

The WWI memorial outside the post office, the Queen Victoria arcade and the stupendous thunder/lightening/ torrential downpour (we never get weather like that where we live) which finished our tour. Mike was a considerate, walking encyclopedia.

You got some wild weather yesterday that's for sure, which is very unusual for Sydney as well, literally the first time we've ever had to finish a tour early. Glad you could enjoy about 2.5 hours of the tour with Michael learning about Sydney. I was a solo female traveller and booked this walking tour as the first thing to do, to get my bearings of the city. It was a great tour, saw some interesting things. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Not gimmicky, just interesting facts and history delivered in a really pleasant way. Would definitely recommend.

Justin was full of knowledge, presented it in a fun and clear manner, answered all our questions and was good about judging our pace and keeping us all together. We covered a lot of ground and saw parts of Sydney we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Well worth the money.

Michael was very knowledgeable about the city of Sydney and its history. Stories were well organized and followed well with the areas we saw. Would definitely recommend this tour. It is about 3 hours of walking/being on your feet.
