Thank you for your comments, we are glad that you enjoyed your tour but sorry to read that you found the staff at the palace disorganised.
We have an onsite coordination team who meet all our guests in central Paris and escort them to Versailles. This allows the guide to go straight to Versailles, pick up the tickets and their 'right to guide' for the day and be ready to take you straight in when you arrive. We have timed entry reservations that allow us to skip the long lines and enter at a specific time.
The guide did not inform us of any delays on the day of your tour, nor did the coordinator. However it can happen that the timings at the entrance are not strictly respected by other groups, and the staff at the palace manage that as best they can. Our guides are also there to ensure that you get in on time and have little or no waiting, and any waiting is used to start introducing the palace and it's fascinating royal residents to you.
Versailles is indeed a tricky place to visit in a wheelchair, especially with a group, and we do advise on our tour page that this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. However we are of course here to do all we can to ensure all our guests have the best experience possible on our tours, and our wonderful team of guides put 110% into ensuring that everyone has a 5* experience.
Once again we are glad you enjoyed your visit and hope that we will perhaps be able to welcome you again on future visits.
