Tivua Island är det perfekta dagsturen i Fiji. Omkranset av vita sandstränder och omgiven av korallrev, fungerar den orörda tropiska ön som en havssköldpaddsreservat under häckningssäsongen.

Efter hotellhämtning, gå ombord på Ra Marama, ett brigantin (tvåmastigt segelbåt) byggt 1957 och uppkallat efter en 1800-talskrigskano. Njut av fijiansk musik av det underhållande besättningen och titta på delfiner som spelar i bågvågan, eftersom du serveras morgonte ombord på det höga skeppet.

Vid ankomsten till Tivua Island, delta i en välkomstceremoni yaqona (kava). Du kan bestämma hur du ska ta bort timmarna: simma i det azurblå havet, promenera runt ön eller sola på sandstranden. Om du känner dig energisk kan du välja bland aktiviteter som snorkling, beachvolleyboll, revfiske och kajak, paddleboard eller kanot. Eller kanske ställt ut för någon korallvisning på en glasbottens båttur.

Gräva i en buffé lunch inklusive grill kyckling, helbakad fisk, korv, färska sallader, frukt och nybakade bröd rullar tillsammans med lokal öl, vin och läsk. Njut av eftermiddagste före returfarten till din utgångspunkt, med avgång på ditt hotell vid dagens slut.

Sales pitch to get you to part with $$$

Beach is littered with broken shells which can dig into your feet even with your Flip Flops on. Rocks surround the island so swimming is out of the question. They will charge you $99 to sit on the beach with a reserved bed (Which is no different to the others) The Left of the beach is for those who refuse to pay and you can see that the $99 is for the Sand being raked and weed free but not Shell Free. In summary all they really want to do is take more money from you and sell you so they can make the price on the screen look good. Alcohol is only included when on the island (they own the island) not on board the boat unless you part with $. Spirits are not included in that range even though it is Alcohol again $ and RIP OFF price. Local bar on mainlaind is much cheaper than they want eveyrthing is about the $ so the original sale price looks good.

Top vibes, never had a chance to feel bored, but still got to feel relaxed. The island is beautiful and the crew are excellent. Get the boys a record deal.

Confirm pick up time. No communication from tour company

I have booked many tours and I always get contacted by the tour company. I was never contacted by this one. Everything on the booking indicates that the pickup time was at 10am. Different pick up location all showed up at 10. The pick up time is not 10 and on a small ? Sign it says that you have to contact the tour company for pick up time. I missed the pick up time. I got an email from viator at 9:35am the day of the tour saying the pickup time was at 9:00. The port was only 10mins away and I was able to take a taxi and catch the boat. The tour was fun and the people were nice. We walked around the island and did some snorkeling. If you book this make sure to contact them to know what time they are going to pick you up.

The experience was great, however I had a disappointing start to the day. The ticket I received says the trip departs at 10am. But the pick-up bus arrived at 8.30am and because I was not aware of the earlier pickup, the bus left without me. I checked my emails at 9am and found an email about the pickup at 7am. Luckily the place I was staying at was able to arranged a taxi to get to the port on time. However this cost me an extra $30. So beware... the pickup comes earlier that booked

This was the most fantastic day out, I could not fault this experience at all. Beautiful staff and service, delicious lunch including a variety of meats, salads and fruit. You get the entire island to yourself with gorgeous reefs to snorkel and see.

What an amazing day, Thank you to all the staff for such a great experience. You were entertaining and the bbq lunch supplied was delicious. It was my husband's birthday and they all sang for him while we enjoyed our lunch. Would highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again. Tivau Island is beautiful

The whole day was incredible! The crew made it engaging, fun and memorable on the boat and at lunch, and then went to our own bungalow to relax with no one around us. The perfect balance! When doing the water sports there were crew to help, but also let you do your own thing and just kept an eye for safety and gave us tips on great snorkelling spots.

Pick up for our hotel was on time and got us there on time for the boat. Trip to the island was lovely with music and some food. The island is great snorkeling, swimming. glass bottom boat, lunch and drinks. We loved it. The trip back we were knackered but the singing on the boat was so nice and lifted our spirits. We came from the Coral coast so was big day but enjoyed every minute

The island you travel to is beautiful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They all try and get to know you and talk with you and it makes you feel included even if you traveled alone. Did some scuba diving for the first time and they were great about teaching!

Wow is all I can say. We swam, we drank, we ate and sang. It was our anniversary day and the team did not disappoint, they surprised us with a beautiful serenade in our little villa on the beach. We felt like we were just living alone In paradise. It was phenomenal. And the staff were superb.

Enjoy scuba diving in Fiji

Beautiful people and loved the scuba diving experience. Unfortunately we didn’t have a great time because the weather was miserable: it rained constantly the whole time 😞 as a result we didn’t get to see the island or to enjoy the relax on the beach. However, we did snorkelling, scuba diving and enjoyed the Fijian food. The only downside was the catamaran: big and comfortable but old and smelly. It was really difficult to sit inside because the mouldy smell was giving us headache. It definitely needs an update!!!
