Inte hemskt men för många människor och busstursformatet är helt enkelt inte för mig. Nu vet jag! Bara för preferens skull är mindre vandringsturer lite mer intressanta IMO.

Thank you very much for participating in our Zurich City tour with Lake Cruise and sharing your experience with us.
We are sorry to hear that the group size hindered you from fully enjoying our tour. All our group city tours are operated by a 48-seater bus. On the day of your tour, we only had a total of 38 guests. While this smaller group size might have allowed for a more intimate and comfortable experience compared to a fully loaded bus, we understand that individual preferences can vary significantly. Thus, for those who seek a more individual experience, we recommend joining a private tour.
Despite this group size, our tour guides are very well trained to consider the mobility level of the guests and adapt the walking speed to ensure that guests can follow him/her without difficulties and hear all the interesting facts he/she has to explain about the old town.
We hope that the chocolate treats partly made up for the inconveniences and that you had a nice rest of your stay in Switzerland!

Ingenting egentligen. Jag är faktiskt väldigt besviken på den här. Guiden hade precis kommit tillbaka för första gången efter 3 års uppehåll från jobbet som guide. Han var inte särskilt informativ. Så väldigt lite detaljer om platserna vi visades. Föraren körde för fort att det var svårt att ta bilder. Sjökryssningen var så oorganiserad och bullrig eftersom vi lämnades ensamma på egen hand för att lyssna på appen de gav oss. De flesta passagerare chattade bara med sin grupp så det var svårt att lyssna på appen också.

We are truly sorry to hear about your disappointment with the services provided by your tour guide and the logistics of our tour. After Covid-19 some guides decided to return back to our company and continue doing what they enjoy most, tour guiding. Nevertheless, this gap might have impacted the level of services. We're working diligently to reintegrate returning guides and provide them with additional training to ensure they meet the high standards we set for our tours. Also, we have forwarded him your feedback to help him provide a more informative and engaging tour in the future.
Regarding the pace of the tour, we would like to apologize for any discomfort caused by the driver’s speed. We would also have appreciated if you had directly communicated your concerns to your guide, which would have allowed the driver to adapt the speed accordingly.
Furthermore, this tour is partly guided, as well stated in the tour description in Viator. Our guests are accompanied by the guide until the end of the walking tour. We hope this part of the tour allowed you to immerse yourself in the city's rich history and culture. Once the walking tour in the city concludes, the tour transitions to an unguided portion, allowing you to embark on a 1-hour boat ride on the picturesque Lake Zurich. While this part of the tour is unguided, we provide an audio app that offers commentary and information about the sights our guests encounter during the boat ride. This way, they can still enjoy a narrated experience as they cruise on the lake.

Reseguiden och vandringsturen var fantastisk! Vi såg massor av sevärdheter, smakade choklad och allt var organiserat och i tid. Sjökryssningen var en besvikelse. I princip var vi på stadsfärjan och stannade vid hållplatser längs vägen.

We are very sorry to hear about your disappointment with the boat cruise. Our tour is operated with a public boat, as it isn’t possible to reserve a private one for our group. Additionally, we are in collaboration with the transportation company of the city and lake of Zurich. This allows us to offer our guests the 24h ticket so that they can enjoy all kinds of public transportation in the city.
Despite this inconvenience, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the services provided by your tour guide and the chocolate treats from the museum.

Vädret var regnigt och skit. Så vi kunde inte se något. Och "minikryssningen" var bara ingenting. Vi åkte båt runt 1/10 av sjön som bara lade till för att plocka upp andra människor. NO gör kung eller sevärdheter talades om. Det var halt. Vi borde ha tagit chokladturnén istället.

We are very sorry to hear that our tour didn’t meet your expectations. Our tour is designed for those who would like to get insights into our beautiful city and embark on a relaxing boat cruise on the lake in only a few hours. We understand your disappointment about cruising a small part of the lake, but unfortunately, Lake Zurich is just too wide to be covered in only one hour. Also, as it is a public boat, it needs to stop at some harbors to pick up guests who would also like to enjoy the cruise or simply commute to other parts of the city.
As stated in the tour description in Viator, this part of the tour is unguided. Nevertheless, the boat cruise offers an audio guide app with interesting stories about the history of the city, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. The information on how to obtain this app on the phone is shown in the small booklet that all our guests received at check-in. We would have appreciated it if you had reached out to your tour guide or any staff member of the boat cruise about this matter.
Unfortunately, rainy weather is typical in Switzerland, especially during spring. For this reason, we operate all our tours regardless of the weather. While we can totally understand that a boat trip is much more enjoyable on a clear sunny day than on a cloudy day, we believe that it is still a nice add-on and contributes to the overall value of the tour.

Tråkig busstur runt staden och sedan skruvade vår reseledare och glömde att vi gjorde en sjötur också och vi missade den sista båten och kunde inte åka.

We are truly sorry to hear that you couldn’t join the second part of the tour. To find out what went wrong, we have discussed your feedback with your tour guide:
We understand from her account that she explained the itinerary to the whole group. While guests who booked only our Best of Zurich City tour need to take the bus again to return back to the meeting point, those guests who have a boat cruise included in the tour, need to walk to the harbor. Her instructions for the guests that booked our Lake Cruise tour was to wait in front of the bus. Unfortunately, you stayed inside and the bus drove back to the meeting point. Your tour guide didn’t notice until it was too late. We totally agree with you that it is the job of the tour guide to make sure that guests follow the right instructions and would like to apologize on her behalf.
As we fully understand your disappointment, we authorized a partial refund through Viator to compensate for the inconvenience caused.
We hope that you still enjoyed a wonderful stay in Zurich and that you will give us a second chance to convince you of our high-quality standards on your next trip to Zürich.
