Not a guided tour, but just a Bus Hop-On Hop-Off. Very disappointed! The “guide” didn't make the stop Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental and Abu Dhabi Mall. Instead, he stopped us at a carpet shop for a demonstration and sale of that. We had to stay at that shop for 40 minutes. We are very upset and disappointed. Moreover: - he was 40 minutes delay - ⁠he didn't explain anything at all - ⁠he just advised us about the time to come back at the bus - ⁠he didn't speak Italian at all - he was not so willing and seems to be in a hurry to finish the “job” At Dates Market, he told us to go just in a specific place (a friend of him?), and not to others shops. We have paid for a guided tour, not a bus hop-on hop-off. Not recommended at all.

BUYER BEWARE- Please read before Purchasing *We did not do the entire excursion. We only saw half of the promised activities. I read other reviews with concerns but really thought that I would at least see all six sites detailed in the What to Expect section. That did not happen! The van arrived slightly late but stated that they had to come all the way from Dubai and did not receive notice until that morning. Because there was only one other couple, we should have been able to make up the time. We picked up the other couple and headed to the Shelkh Zahed Grand Mosque Center. We were supposed to spend one hour and thirty minutes at the Shelkh Zayed Grand Mosque Center. The Mosque is vast, and it has shopping opportunities inside and outside the Mosque Center; it requires a lot of time to do the tour justice. We did not receive one hour and thirty minutes, which was stated in the description. There was a marathon going on close to the Mosque, and we just drove around for about thirty minutes waiting for it to pass by so that we could actually get to the parking area. The driver and tour guide called someone about the matter to find out what to do. After the marathon, they proposed to see the Mosque later because all entrances were blocked. The other couple opposed the idea because they needed to be done by 12:00pm. I wanted to move forward and return to the Mosque later because we were already running late. The tour guide agreed with the couple because I was only one person versus two people. We later entered. We were rushed past the outdoor stands and sites. We rushed to the checkpoint and were stopped because the woman was not dressed appropriately (her dress could be seen through) and the man had a vape pen. We had to leave and go to the shopping area for her to buy tights or another outfit and resolve his vape pen issue. We lost another 20 minutes. Once we were allowed to enter, we were rushed through quickly. We were able to take some pictures but had to stay together. We were told that we would have time to stop at the shops for souvenirs after the tour. it did not happen. We arrived at Yas Mall, specifically Ferrari World. We did not have an opportunity to see any other stores in Yas Mall. We did not enter Ferrari World because we did not have tickets and it was not a part of the tour. The tour guide pointed it some highlights as we rushed back to the van. We then went to Abu Dhabi Dates Market. We went to one store and were quickly returned to the van. We stayed for about eight minutes. Another tour driver conversed with our tour guide and asked if they were going to end the tour because the other sites were blocked off due to an event. We headed to Heritage Village, and as the other tour guide stated...it was blocked off, and we could not proceed. We pulled over to the side of the road, and again the tour guide called someone to explain the issue. He returned and said we could not see the rest of the tour. We returned to the couple's hotel, and they took me to the Louvre Abu Dhabi and dropped me off. The only site that I can speak to, spent time at, and was not rushed through was the Louvre Abu Dhabi because I was dropped off and the tour guide and driver left. I went at my own pace and it is a wonderful attraction to see while in Abu Dhabi. I highly recommend buying a ticket and going on your own time. This was a waste of my time and money. If Viator is a reputable company, they would refund this failed tour or offer another tour. If I return to the region, I would have to take another tour to see the sites detailed on this site. Three sites were missed, and three were rushed through with no time for a meaningful opportunity to enjoy the attractions. People invest a lot in their vacations to have a great experience. It is very sad when companies lose sight of that and have no problem not delivering the basic things described on their website.

Poor Tour

Although this tour covered many sights we were rushed through and given almost no time to see anything. The tour description listed 90 minutes at the Misque and it was only 60 minutes. Other stops were also shortened until I spoke to our guide. He gave very little information and the bus was hot with very little air conditioning. It also arrived 15 minutes late for pickup. The visit to the shop at the end was totally unnecessary and was only a sales pitch for overpriced goods. The 25 minutes there would have been better spent elsewhere. I can not recommend this tour.

Ok but with issues

The tour in general was ok, the tour guide was friendly ...etc but there was something I didn't like in the tour. The clients who chose half day tour then they were dropped for free in their hotels. The clients who chose full day tour, (last stop in Louvre museum, Abu Dhabi, we were left there and then we had to take a taxi. I didn't like it as we felt left there. (All customers should be dropped at their hotels or none of them without distintions as all of us we are paying our ticket! More people were complained about the drop off and not just me I am afraid.... Also, the guide came late to pick me up not able to have my breakfast and the bus came late to pick us up at the mosque with all the heat. The tour was ok but you have to fix these issues I am afraid

Poor Communication and Inconsiderate

Travel to and from to the tour bus was frustrating and made no sense. They picked us up from The Fairmont Hotel in a shuttle bus at 7:50 am and drove us into Abu Dhabi to pick up other passengers. One stop didn’t have any passengers because he was sent to the wrong hotel. Then we got on the Tour bus which then stopped in a parking lot to wait on other passengers, and the whole time there was no communication as to what was going on. The Tour was supposed to start at 8:30 am, but it was 9:00 am and we were still picking up people. Around 9:30 am we drove back to the Mosque, which was the first stop! Our hotel was across the creek from the Mosque! The Mosque was beautiful and we had plenty of time to visit. We were instructed to meet at 11:30 am to depart the Mosque, but the tour bus wasn’t at the pick up location, therefore, we had to wait for the bus in the hot sun! I don’t mind hot, but it was mid-day and miserably hot! Again there was confusion, Yas mall and Ferrari World are one in the same, found that out on tour, as we didn’t want to go to Ferrari World! Ferrari World was a waste as it was only a visit to the lobby. We paid for a half day tour but ended up on a full day tour, because we started so late. This was inconvenient because we had not eaten! Then the Tour bus started dropping off people at their hotels before we made it to our final destination. They told us that the next stop was Abu Dhabi Mall, that never happened. Again no communication to what was going on! I had to complain that it was not fair to those going to the Louve and they stopped dropping off people and took us, It was 4:30pm! Then we had to take a Taxi back to our hotel, as pickup does not include drop off, bad assumption on my part! Disappointing Tour!

Since I was travelling to Dubai at the end of this experience, I wanted to carry my luggage with me in the SIC basis transfer. Despite having huge space available, I was initially denied the same repeatedly. However, at the end I was allowed to carry the luggage. The guide did not come inside the grand mosque and we missed the details about the mosque. Since the tour started late, it looked like as if it was over very soon and therefore, the money spent was not worth it.

The tour is as described. You get a pair of headphones and connect them to the audio guides installed on the van. We did the tour with a 9-month-old baby and it was good. Both the Mosque and the Louvre Museum let you in with a stroller, which made our day easier. For the Fruit and dates market you need to pay in cash in case you want to buy something. Our driver Qasim Shah was really nice.

Bellissima la moschea, ma tour fatto di fretta , appuntamento alle 08.00 autista arrivato alle 09.00 e poi tutto di corsa per stare nei tempi , non mi è piaciuto il fatto di dover coprerare la tunica per le nostre compagne quando si potevano solo affittare , fuori luogo la visita obbligata dove si facevano dei tappeti con l'intento di farci acquistare . Moschea e Museo del lovre comunque molto belli

とても効率的に回れて、楽しめるツアーでした。シェイクザイードグランドモスクはとりわけ素晴らしかった。アブダビルーブル付きのツアーでの参加でしたが、ルーブルでの解散だったので、ゆっくり食事をする時間が取れて最高でした。日本語音声ガイドの内容もなかなか的確でした。必要十分な内容で、トランジットでの利用など、アブダビをスピーディーに観光したい場合オススメです。
