You never showed up!!! We waited for 45 minutes. I call your number and was told to wait. You owe me a refund. We never got to see abu dabi thanks to you. you are a scam company.

The Half Day Abu Dhabi Tour

The Sheikh Grand Mosque was spectacular. The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental was okay. We were not taken to the Heritage Village or the, Dates Market. The driver’s knowledge sharing was very limited.

Not what we anticipated.

We had a driver rather than a tour guide. Drivers changed part way through. We were dropped off at the mosque and picked up again when we left the mosque. We looked around but did not receive any explanation of what we were seeing. The driver took us to the gold and fig markets and merely let us walk through without any background information. We expected an educational tour rather than a taxi ride. Very disappointing!

We are sorry the Abu Dhabi City Tour didn't match your expectation.; anyway maybe you din't see that the description of the product say clearly that the "driver is is also tour guide". The Half Day City Tour (4 hrs) is a way to have an outside panoramic of the most important attractions of the City, To visit inside it shouldn't be possible, because the short time and the distance between one attraction and the other. To visit inside you should spend more time, but I know you were in transit in Abu Dhabi. Usually people book this tour to get their bearings in the city and then decide what to explore. Regarding the guide you tell us, he didn't give enough explanations, we thank you for the report, we are always happy to be able to improve, even if we usually know the guide you've had is very prepared and sociable. usually, if you see the other reviews, they compliment him because he cares about people. In fact, we understand that that day there was also another person with you who helped you, as you were tired of walking. I hope you can understand that to visit inside the Grand Mosque with a guide it would take at least a couple of hours and this would not allow you to see the other attractions. I booked this tour very late and didn’t find other sites. It was very expensive. Our driver came 1 hour later and it was already night. But he add us 1 hour more of the tour.

Enjoyable tour of Abu Dhabi!

This was a really nice tour. Our guide Aziz was friendly and personable. The Grand Mosque is stunning! The visit to the heritage site was also neat - it was cool to see what Abu Dhabi was in the past. We also enjoyed the visit to the dates market. We sampled a ton of dates and bought some camel milk chocolate covered dates - delicious. The shopkeeper was friendly and not at all pushy! I would recommend this tour.

Unfortunately after reaching out a couple of times to confirm where at the airport the pickup point would be, we did not receive a message before our flight departed and could not make the tour. I was disappointed to pay for four tickets and then not get a response in time despite trying more than a week out.

The Grand Mosque was the main part of the tour and was really impressive. We joined a guided tour around it which was interesting and informative. Having left the mosque we visited several other sites around the city which helped get a better understanding of the culture ann no d layout.

The tour description was confirmed with pickup and drop off included. I mentioned in my reservation that our hotel was located in Al Wathba district. We waited more than an hour and enventualy a car was sent with a guide who ask us what was including in the tour !!! During the tour we lost half an hour waiting for the guide after the visit of the Great Mosk. When drop off the manager asked us to pay additional fee because of the distance between our hotel and Abu Dhabi down town.

Great day out as an overview of the city our driver was very informative and caring. We invited him to have lunch with us as he took us to the fish market where we bought fresh fish he then took it to the restaurant at the front of the market where they then cleaned and cooked it The pick up procedure could have been a little more clearer as we waited in the lobby

Great attractions - Absolutely terrible guide

All in all an unpleasant experience. We chose he English language guide however our guide could barely speak a word of english. We had expected a tour of the mosque, however our guide simply acted as a driver and dropped us off, asking us to reconvene at his car by 6pm. He also didn't seem to follow any sort of itinerary and we ended up having to remind him of the places we were meant to visit. The response we got to some were that they are meant for the full day tour, even though they are listed as part of the half day tour. I'm grateful we did not let this totally ruin our experience, because the actual monuments are amazing.

We had booked our half day tour as we had a 15 hour layover in Abu Dhabi. We were able to be picked up at the Premier Inn International Hotel which is immediately next door to the airport. We had to exit the airport and get a transit visa. I had tried to do it on line and paid the fees but they responded by saying that you didn't need to do it on line and that fees were forfeited. Getting the transit visa at the airport was easy. Our driver Annis picked us up and my wife and I were the only passengers in his Toyota 8 seater. The tour of the Corniche, the Historical Centre, the Emirates Palace Hotel, a date shop and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque was excellent. Annis was attentive and answered all of our questions. The only minor criticism is that there was not enough time at the mosque. I would strongly recommend this tour.

This was not a guided tour but just being dropped off to explore for yourself. The Grand Mosque is well worth the visit however no gold souk was visited only a rug mskong place thar wove gold into their rug and tried to give you the hard sell on a rug and no visit yo the Corniche or Abu Dhabi Mall.

Mind at ease

It was great to have a driver just drive you around to all the “hot” spots. It sets your mind at ease and you don’t have to worry about anything. He drops you off at the destination and go and explore on your own. Feels more like a taxi service than a tour guide. So that’s the only feedback I would give is that it would be nice if the “tour guides” gave more information on history, culture, background etc. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to those types of tours but it just seemed like I was constantly asking questions instead of being given a “tour” verbally. Our driver was so kind, thoughtful and attentive to all our questions! He did a great job pointing out different buildings and showing us around. I just assumed he would come to the mosque as well and tell us information there too. But all good! It was fun and we saw so much ! Would book again.

Durch diese Tour kommt man mehr oder weniger planmäßig von A nach B. Infos zu den Stopps sind eher spärlich und 3 könnte man sich komplett sparen da nur Verkaufstopps. Was wir sehen wollten (Grand Mosque und Heritage Village) haben wir gesehen, mussten uns vor Ort allerdings komplett selbst zurecht finden.

Gute, halbtägige Tour. Ca. 4 Stunden. Guter und netter Fahrer. Waren mit dem Fahrer alleine. Wenig Touristen. Temperatur 40 Grad. Negativ: bei der online Buchung könnte man keinen Pick up Ort eingeben. Auch das Mail wurde nicht beantwortet. Erst nach dem Nachfragen übers Hotel wurde schlussendlich der Pick up, Hoteladresse bestätigt. Schlechter Service von Viator.
