      We meet on the beachfront adjacent to Lily's Treasure Chest at 8am and depart no later than 8:30am. If you miss us there just look 2 docks north for myself or one of our Team Members wearing our Yellow Ridge and Reef Adventures Shirt. Please pack towels, sunblock and sunglasses.

    Snorkeling excitement

    The whole trip start to end was amazing. Pay one time no extra charges and no worries. Our guides were great and fun to be with! It was the highlight of the whole trip for my wife!

    This was a great experience! Sonny was a great guide and host. He was witty and a little bit snarky at times, but I loved his island flare and his genuine care and concern for all of us on the boat. I never would have swam with sharks before this Excursion, but this Was a must do experience. Lunch was good even though I would’ve wanted a little bit more food. It was tasty. We had just enough time on Caye Caulker and each snorkeling stop was amazing. I felt comfortable and never felt out of place even as a solo traveler. This was one of the few excursions that allowed me to book as a solo traveler. I would do this again the next time I visit Belize.

    Great trip with mix of activities

    The trip was good. A nice boat ride (we took some Dramamine for motion sickness beforehand—good call). There’s snorkeling and seeing lots of cool fish (parrotfish, blue tang, sting rays, nurse sharks), plus a quick stop at the tarpon area where the tarpons will leap out of the water to snatch sardines. Our young girls only opted into one of the snorkeling stops, which was OK. We brought full face snorkel masks for them. You also get to spend about 90 minutes on Caye Caulker, which was pretty cool, much smaller than San Pedro Town. Our lunch was the best meal I’ve had in Belize—Belizean chicken with beans and rice at Mary’s sunset cafe (I think that’s the name). We then walked south though town and shopped for souvenirs (kids’ idea), got some ice cream (wife’s idea), and bought beers from a convenience store (my idea). My wife thought maybe we should have just spent our entire Caulker time at the Lazy Lizard which is at the split.

Sounds like your Family really enjoyed Caye Caulker, we have had many folks that choose to stay on for a little while longer in Caye Caulker and take the water taxi back to San Pedro later in the evening. If You're ever in San Pedro again, we would like to take you all on our private customized tours where you can choose your activities, departure time and get to do a little more of what you prefer to do. There's also an evening experience where you get to see many dozen Rays very close to the shore but you can only experience this on our private customized tours.     Incredible Experience

    Great experience! The crew was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Very safe. Our guides accompanied us at every stop and genuinely asked, consistently, if we were doing ok and having a good time. The full day tour is a long day in the sun, bring lots of REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN!!!! We got to see endless amounts of fishes, pet a string ray the size of a coffee table and saw so many nurse sharks. Feeding the tarpons was quite an experience and despite not seeing any manatees a school of dolphins followed us home instead. Also, our authentic chicken rice and beans lunch was plentiful and so freakin delicious. Strongly recommend 10/10

    Great trip lots of things to see Love snark ray alley and key caulker Lunch was great Would do this again. Caution it is a long day and the sun is hot make sure to apply sunscreen and you will get tired so drink allot of water Overall great service with guides and pretty reefs.

    i had a great time i can’t remember the tour guide game but they were so helpful. they fed us and were really knowledgeable. we saw fish stingray nurse sharks manatees coral reef.

    Great tour guides. Andy took the time to put us at ease and pointed out sea turtles and stingrays that we would have missed on our own. 4 snorkeling sites plus feeding tarpons and seeing sea horses. Great day!

    This snorkel trip was a fun experience! We got to see a green sea turtle, stingrays, spotted eagle ray, and nurse sharks. Our guide told us we would go look for manatees but we never did, so that was a little disappointing but other than that it was a good trip.

    I really enjoyed the snorkelling, the marine hol chan and the ray alley shark are really beatifull places . But...we did only 3 stops for snorkelling and not 4 as this your should have been. Also in the water the guides treat me ( and others ) like its my first snorkelling ever. They need to let the people to be more free and do the snorkelling without the guide will be around all the time . Also we spent 2.5 hours at caye cauker and the split . Too much time and after an hour there is nothing more to do . They should take us instead to other snorkelling spots .

    Thank you very much for your feedback and experience with us. Yes, there are irresponsible companies that allow guests go do as they please and swim around at the various sites unsupervised however this is not the case with Ridge and Reef Adventures, we provide fully guided tours and at the end of the day, safety is a top priority. Regarding doing 3 stops instead of 4, there are days when we are unable to do 4 or 5 snorkeling stops due to windy and unsafe conditions at some of these sites. Again, we use our years of experience and professional judgement each and every day and will continue to do our best to ensure all our guests have a safe and wonderful snorkeling adventure while on our tour. Regarding the time on Caye Caulker, we allow time for snorkeling, time for lunch, time to experience the non snorkeling part of our day activities and also time to explore Caye Caulker and most guests are very pleased with 90 minutes after lunch to explore the island. Again we apologize that we were unable to meet all your expectations. Warm Regards Ovel

    Abraham and his co worker (curly frosted hair-sorry I don’t remember your name) were excellent hosts for the day. They were attentive, professional, and really funny. They had cut up watermelon and pineapple which were a perfect refresher. They also had water and sodas available all day. The lunch was stewed chicken, rice and beans, and cole slaw were delicious. We saw so many different sea life throughout the day. The co host took so much time finding and showing us seahorses. A couple of suggestions: a dry place to keep belongings onboard. Whatever you put under the seat is going to get soaked. The boat was too full. They said they were taking 3 boats out but only took out 2. We had 20 people on our boat including instructors. The variety of events made the day go by fast and fun. Overall, a great day!

    We had a great time in recommend this tour. Melvin and Captain Arnold did a great job, explaining the rules of the reef and making sure that we stayed together during the reef tour. The reef tour is busy, and you will see a lot of other operators with their groups, seeing the same amazing things that you are seeing. Did not bother me one drop and I was grateful to be on this tour with two skilled guides who were fun and funny and knowledgeable. I appreciate being able to support the tourism industry and going on this tour was a great way to do it. We also had some nice chill time on Caulker Caye. I’d do it again.

    We were able to swim with Rays,Sharks, and even found a Manatee. Guides were knowledgeable and fun and the trip was a great way to spend the day in San Pedro!
    Great sites to see but choose another company

    The snorkeling sites were great, but the company had unsafe practices and wasted time that could have been spent doing activities. They allowed participants that could not safely enter the boat from the water, nor could they complete the swims required. Instead of having another guide help out they left only 1 person to monitor the group which had several poor swimmers. They sent two boats out as 1 group so you ended up just sitting on the boat waiting for the other boat to complete the activities. Our boat had to spend 40mins bringing the half day participants back to San Pedro instead of enjoying snorkeling time that we paid for on the full day tour.

    So Sorry too hear of your disappointment on our tour. We do our best to accommodate everyone and try to care for all our guests equally however some will have more difficulty than others because of many different reasons. On certain days when there are not enough guests to confirm a half day trip, instead of cancelling those 1 or 2 guests we have them join our full day trip and we drop them off at a nearby resort and I usually transfer them from that point to their cart by road after they have completed their 2 snorkel stops. Those guests are very appreciative of this instead of us just cancelling their tour due to minimum numbers not met. This happens maybe 3 times per month during the busy season but as we continue to grow, we hope to have more guests on our slower selling tours so it will not be necessary to divert to drop off (FYI, the resort is actually located 8 minutes away from the snorkel site so the time spent to drop off is more like 20 minutes). Again we sincerely apologize and on behalf of the guests that were given the opportunity to complete their half day trip, I would like to apologize on their behalf for the time taken to drop them off.     Perfect day with Abraham. He was professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Our whole family (two adults and four teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling and spending the day on the water.
    Best tour to see everything in one full day with lunch in Caye Caulker too!

    My boyfriend and I took this all day tour. It was his first time in Belize so this is perfect to get a little bit of everything. Charlie and Kyle were fun, safe and extremely knowledgeable of the marine-life. They made it comfortable for people who also were not experienced swimmers. We visited Hol Chan, Shark Ray alley, visited sea horses, saw dolphins, manatee, fed tarpon and friggen birds from our hands. What an experience! We had lunch in Caye Caulker and walked around for two hours so it was perfect to see another island. One of the best snorkling day trips I have ever been to and I have traveled all over the world. They did their best to have us see as much as we could! I highly recommend doing this tour!!!!
