For guest on cruise ship: All departure times are based on the LOCAL time in port. Ships sometimes do not adjust their clocks to the local time in port, so it is very important to make sure you meet your tour at the correct local time. Meeting Instructions We ask all guests to please plan to be at the designated departure/pick up location at least 40 minutes before TOUR departure time. Pick up times vary from 45 minutes to 15 minutes prior to tour departure time. Please confirm your pick up time at your hotel.
If you have your own transportation please be at the ranch at least 20 minutes prior to tour departure time.
The driver will leave after 5 minutes after pick up time at you pick up location. please be on time. we can only reschedule you at extra cost if there is availability

The BEST excursion on the island!! Nestor was an amazing guide. Helpful with placing everyone on the appropriate horse, great explaining and answering questions and funny!! The horse were well cared for and very gentle. I loved this tour!! A must do!!

It was my husbands first time on a horse! He ended up riding Barbaro, who just wanted to do his own thing, lol. The tour guide was friendly and the other worker picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. We took the 7am tour, and it was gorgeous! The sun had just come up so it wasn’t too hot yet. Overall, great experience!

Horseback riding to the cove was wonderful. My horse, John, was little bit lazy and always fell behind but we had a great time. Tour guide was wonderful and took us to scenic locations and took pictures for us.

Our guide was great. Beautiful experience. Horses were easy and safe. I wish they provided bottled water for the ride. Looked like there was a bar for alcohol after but there wasn’t. Still had fun though!!

It was a fun ride, I was never on a horse before, so it was slow for me. However there was a problem in the beginning, another horse (not mine) spooked when the girl on him got nervous, they were next to me and the horse bit my knee through my jeans. No one seemed to care or be concerned. He broke the skin and it is truly a mess to look at

The best part was walking along the beach!! Definitely make sure you wear pants the inside of my legs were bruised when I got back home. Everything was perfect, this is a long excursion only thing I wish we had more time to take photos in front of the water!!

Wonderful experience! The staff at the ranch was outstanding. We had a beautiful scenic morning ride. The horses were well cared for and well trained. Transportation to and from the ranch was super helpful!

Not a horse back ride / more like desert walk

Would not recommend most 99% of the ride is through the desert going through very tight spaces and cactus nothing to see but and rocks wich was not a big deal but the way was so dangerous we could not even trot on the horse so if your looking to do some horseback riding this is not it. It’s more like a walk through a desert through lots of very sharp corners with places you have to be careful not to scrape a knee or a foot. The water area is barely nothing . It’s so small that all you can do is take a picture in front if it . Guide was ok was very nice when he picked us up but did not say much of anything during our boring desert ride and did not even want to stop to take some pictures with the cool looking cactus .

Cruise Passengers - Do Not Book This Tour!

My purpose for writing this review is to help others not make the same mistake we did. I booked this tour outside of our cruise line. On the way to Aruba there was a medical emergency and the ship had to stop for about an hour for a helicopter airlift. At that point, I called Viator’s customer service to reach out to the tour operator to alert them of the possibility of us being late. Since we were outside of the 24-hour cancellation period, they gave me the option of canceling the tour. At that point I had about an hour and a half to decide and I told them that I would check with the cruise director regarding our arrival time. I did meet with the cruise director who got the word from the captain that we would still make it on time to Aruba. However, during the night there were some weather-related issues and the ship ended up being a little over a hour late. Therefore, we missed the tour pickup. I immediately messaged the tour operator and pleaded with her that we were willing to cut the tour short because of our late arrival. She said that was not possible and they actually waited longer for us before taking off (this is the reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1). I then inquired about the possibility of getting a 50% refund since they did try to accommodate us and also for their inconvenience. She flat out refused my proposal. Bottom line, we paid almost $400 for nothing when the circumstances were beyond our control. They only have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place but since part of their business is from cruise passengers, they have to have consideration for emergencies. The tour operator only looked at the situation from their viewpoint without any consideration from our vantage point. So cruise passengers, please think twice about booking this tour.

Such a memorable experience. I was so scared but this ranch team is 👏. They perfectly paired each horse with each rider. My horse,John, was excellent. Very calming and slow and easy. It wast first time riding a horse. The ranch provided easy instruction and helped with getting on/off horse. Ride was just long enough and guide helped take amazing pictures by water. Well worth money of tour.
