What To Expect

Travel to Palm Beach's pier to board your luxury catamaran. Climb on board and greet your friendly crew, take advantage of the open bar and help yourself to some snacks while the captain navigates the boat towards your first stop.

Stop at Catalina Bay, a secluded bay with calm, clear water that is ideal for learning to snorkel. Listen to a short safety briefing, don your mask, flippers, and snorkel and jump in. In a depth of approximately 15 feet (five meters) view sea fans and coral, and float through groups of angelfish, blue parrotfish and damselfish.

Climb back on board your catamaran and cruise towards the Antilla wreck. One of the island's most famous snorkeling spots, this 400-foot (122-meter) German freighter was purposefully scuttled off Aruba's waters in 1940 to avoid capture by the Dutch.

Dive in and enjoy 30 to 50 feet (nine to 15 meters) of visibility around the ship, which is now home to an array of diverse marine life. See butterflyfish, stingrays, moray eels, and yellowtail snapper. Swim over to the starboard side of the freighter, which is entirely covered with brain coral, star coral, and white-tipped fire coral.

When your snorkeling adventure is over, board the catamaran and enjoy more snacks and drinks as your captain takes you back to Palm Beach.

We were never picked up by your van at the cruise ship!! We had to get a cab to the excursion, we just made it!! A$25.00 cab ride, and then they would not let us on the boat until we paid the $10.00 for the van that never picked us up. Your company now owes me $35, and I had to get a cab back. Very poor organization. I need to be reimbursed immediately,

Top notch equipment for the snorkeling, the sites are amazing, the bites to eat right on point, open bar was a plus. This was the last activity of our trip and was very fulfilling. Staff is super courteous and professional. Will come back to the same catamaran.

A Great Adventure for All!

Had a great few hours with Carlos, Simon, and Richard despite the high wind. Boca Catalina is our favourite snorkel spot, and today nature provided great sights. We followed 2 turtles, saw lots of fish. The shipwreck was very interesting. Obviously you can't get as close to it snorkeling as scuba. It is down 60-80 feet (my teen son still dove down to touch it!). But you can see it well enough to swim along it's length, even in the strong currents. Best for strong swimmers. I would suggest crew be available on the steps to assist if needed.

The experience was great from start to finish. We had a great small group onboard so a lot of space. The crew was extremely professional and followed all safety measures. The snorkeling gear and experience was great. And the snacks and drinks were plentiful.

Went on Christmas Eve, afternoon catamaran, snacks were good, drinks were awesome! Realized you can actually go to Catalina on your own, but we booked it because Antilla is not possible to go on our own. Everything was great, wish there were lights setting up for the shipwreck because it was very dark, hard to see on the day we were there. But definitely highly recommend it!

We had a great time. The bartenders were friendly, kept the drinks flowing (and added more liquor upon request). The captains special was my favorite drink. We’ve snorkeled in a few locations across the world & this was a great experience. The instructions for first timers was adequate. There was a short history of the sunken ship. Some safety precautions and suggestions on wheee to snorkel for the best experience. The crew was light hearted & fun. There were a few small jellyfish at the sunken ship site. (Golf ball sized) most of the fish were in one area of the sunken ship, but seeing how large the ship was pretty cool. The water was a little choppy, but the crew advised to swim in one direction to start & let the current carry you back (which was helpful advice for exploring). The second snorkel spot was much calmer, close to shore & no jellyfish. There were many spots with coral (you do have to swim around a bit to locate the coral but I truly enjoyed the excursion). We swam in some areas where we were surrounded by schools of fish in the thousands. We saw a variety of fish, colors, types, some large & small and even a sea turtle. If you’re not into snorkeling , there was great music, a water slide & the boat trip itself would be fun too. Thanks to Captain & crew for a great time.

Great fun, with a few caveats

We took this adventure from a cruise ship, and we were definitely on the minority in that regard. Transportation from the port to the pier was more difficult than we anticipated, with multiple possible pick up points and limited taxi options. We did eventually make it to the pier, but if you are coming from a cruise ship, be aware if these possible issues. The catamaran itself was great! Plenty of room, beautiful views, and the crew was very friendly and helpful. The open bar was nice, with our kids getting lots of non alcoholic pina coladas and Shirley temples. The hot chicken empanadas and fruit were delicious. We did two snorkeling spots. The first was the shipwreck. It says neat to see, but very crowded with some rough waves. Not appropriate for non strong swimmers. The second snorkeling spot was just off the beach. We saw rays, turtles, and fish. It was much calmer. Overall, I would recommend, especially for the helpful and friendly crew, but don't take any non strong swimmers and be aware of transportation issues from the cruise port.

Fantastic Experience all around!

Booking this excursion was easy. We left out Carnival Celebration ship took a cab to Piet's Pier and found this awesome lady who rented us 4 chairs for $20.00 for the day. We had a great crew on a very clean and well run catamaran. They took us to a real ship. This was not a little boat that sank - it was gigantic. There were many different types of fish all around and the best part was a sea turtle came out of nowhere and hung out with us for a few minutes. Next on the way back to the pier this girl was kitesurfing back and forth next to the cat and did some great aerial tricks. What a great time this really was.
