Your tour departs from the Octopus Aruba beach hut, unless a pickup location is selected. Our beach hut is located on Palm Beach behind the Holiday Inn. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, walk through the lobby towards the beach. Make a left on the footpath and you will see us on your right.

We offer a free pick-up service with our shuttle boat from all high-rise hotels. Please let us know if you wish to use this service. You will be picked up on the beach of your hotel with our shuttle boat. Directions from non-high rise hotels When you take a taxi from your hotel to our beach hut please you can tell the taxi driver the destination is the Holiday Inn Hotel. Your meeting location is an approximate 1-2-minute walk from the entrance of the hotel. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, please walk through the entrance of the hotel and after about 20 steps, you will reach a garden where you will continue to walk through until you reach the beach area. Upon reaching the beach, please make left on the footpath and walk about 10 meters (33 feet) and you will reach the beach hut for Octopus Aruba, where you will see representatives dressed in orange shorts and white polo shirts.

Great excursion

Tony, our guide made the experience great! Food was good as well...only wished we could have stayed a bit longer to see the sun actually set!

Not Worth It

We were so looking forward to this excursion, but it did disappoint us. We had to walk through water to get on a little jon boat to take us out to the donut. It was difficult to get in and very crowded with six of us. It was challenging to get into the donut from the boat. The crew was wonderful and very helpful (5 stars for them). We were left with a cooler of beer and a bottle of wine. They came back about an hour later with our food which you order prior to the excursion. The food was tough, dry and tasteless. We ended up feeding it to the seagulls. They pick you up before sunset to go back to shore so we really didn't get to enjoy the sunset. I would highly recommend a better boat to get customers to the donut and provide a charcuterie board rather than the food that was offered or let guests bring their own food and lower the price.

Jose was fabulous he took very good care of us. The food was very tasty and we expected a glass of wine but we actually got a whole bottle. The only thing I would add was to give your guests a few bottles of water.

Do not waste your money

This experience is nothing like they advertise. They brought us to the donut island in a tiny boat not far from shore. They was no padding on the seats, no umbrella over the donut. The plates and silverware were dirty so we ate out of a cheap tin container. There was no Bluetooth speaker and they leave you out there with no way to contact them if something happens. It’s a rip off and I do not recommend anyone waste their money on this.

Late to take us out. Food was not good very dry and cold. Was told there would be speakers on boat and was ready to swim and listen to music and there were no speakers. After we were out there we were told they do not offer it. Was to get a gift but none given. Very disappointed

Amazing experience, great idea although the food needs to be better, dry food, all sides are carbs they need a more balanced option. Other than that we had a blast, definitely recommend!

Unique dining experience

This excursion was our own unique, private sanctuary. We were able to catch the sunset and listen to some relaxing music using the speaker provided by the company. We got the Spanish steak and curry chicken. Both meals appeared small but were very filling, and delicious! We both ordered champagne as our drink and received a whole champagne bottle to drink between the two of us. There was no one to watch or observe us, so that could have been a concern, but we both felt completely safe since we both know how to swim and it created a more intimate experience. We are always looking for unique dinners, and this was definitely one of them! We would definitely do this excursion again. The only downside was that we got there at 5:30pm and did not eat until 6:15pm, which would be fine, but I think we would have preferred our dinner first, then spent the last 40min relaxing until 7pm.

This unique excursion is a MUST do!

This was beyond worth it! Going into the excursion we weren’t sure what to expect but it EXCEEDED any expectations we did have. Gio and his crew mate were so welcoming and relaxed. We came dressed to just ahve dinner on the water but ended up having some fun and jumped in the water( which to our surprise is highly recommended and. allowed!) we each picked a different drink so we ended up with three bottles which also the cups provided double as souvenirs. This is a must do excursion! So worth every penny!

Amazing way to celebrate my 50th birthday with my husband. The guide was wonderful and the food was good. The only thing I would mention is the food was lukewarm. We ordered the fish. We understand that the food was prepared at a nearby hotel, and it took awhile to get from the shore out to us. Perhaps offer pizza or finger sandwiches that are ok when not hot.

Don’t go for an amazing dinner

The food was the most terrible part. There was little/no seasoning on the food and no condiments to accompany the extremely bland entrees. A small speaker with lots of static for music was our entertainment along with the views from our stagnant boat. Getting off of the donut boat to catch our hotel’s buffet was the highlight of our dinner cruise. If you’re looking for a good time, I would recommend not adding the dinner experience to your trip and to only go if you plan to swim or something.

The description is very misleading. You can hear the music from the bars on the island. We got buzzed by boats and jetskis. One jetskis even splashed us. The first food we got was not what we order and was cold and soggy. When the correct food was delivered, it was not what was expected. It was basically cheap Chinese takeout. The Bluetooth speaker wouldn't connect. We had to disembark prior to the sunset. So def not a sunset dinner. The beers are only 7oz so it's more like 1.5 beers not 3. The boat driver was very kind and did everything they could to make our day better. But this is clearly a tourist trap. Not worth $200 when we could have sat at the prier bar that was within hearing/swimming distance and had a better time.

Nice sunset and food was very good. The food was in containers because it was too windy to have plates. Be prepared to bring your own water and extra booze if you like. They didn’t provide any other beverages other than the alcohol that comes with dinner.

Over sold but didn’t deliver the experience

They were 30 minutes late and the meal was subpar . So we waited 30 minutes for the crew then when they took us to the boat it was just sitting in the middle of the water.

Would not recommend this guide with boat to take us to donut boat was 30 minutes late, took us and another couple whk booked this to an anchored donut boat left us came back with our dinner then left us there , it was dark before be picked us up late again. Not what we expected thought boats would of moved and tour guide would be with group.
