Much driving with not much to see

Many hours in a bus (although in description seemed to be otherwise). Mountain views are beautiful, but there is only one stop for 10 min to get out of the bus to enjoy them. Otherwise only from the window while driving by. Thermas pools- nothing much to see as well as the capital of Andora. If you expect more than shopping there, it is not worth going by spending so much time just driving. The guide seemed to be just tired of his job, no much interest and passion comparing to other guides during such trips.

Lazy guide.

Carlos, the guide, got a bit lazy. We had to park in another part of the town in valle, so his guided tour was not of any of the old city but just a walk down the shopping lane pointing out shops and McDonald’s. I don’t need a guide for that. Ad for the old city where I needed a guide, well he just pointed and said it was fifteen minutes in that direction. Lazy.

Don’t do it

Waste of time and money. The trip is 12 hours long and we only got 2.5 hours in Andorra. We very quickly had lunch, hit three shops, and had to race back to the bus. We even chose to cut out a stop to see the views so that we could spend more time in the city. The stop in France was pathetic and so disappointing. We were only given 40 minutes and the town is practically empty. Maybe 5 shops selling mostly ski equipment. There was one souvenir shop but it was closed. The bus was extremely uncomfortable with cramped seats worse than airplanes. The roads are very, very windy making for a very long 12 hours.

Not my favorite...

I hate to be this way, and I usually don’t complain, but this was not my favorite experience and I unfortunately did not really enjoy it. I want to clarify that the guide and the driver were both fantastic. However, there was something wrong with the bus and there was an incredibly loud beeping the entirety of the drive which was torturous. Then the roads were too icy and bad to even be able to go to France which was very disappointing. The driver did a great job in te slippery conditions, but it felt like an entire part of the trip was getting cut out. I felt like maybe we could’ve been partially refunded or compensated for this in some way. The experience in Andorra was fine. The weather was really bad and we couldn’t really do much except go to stores. I guess I should’ve taken into consideration the possibility of this when traveling in March. I’d recommend maybe holding off and doing this excursion in the warmer months.

Long drive with rude participants is not fun

Beautiful scenic tour

I would not recommend it

It was a complete waste of time. Most of the time we were on the bus. The French place was a nice stop but we were probably there for an hour. The rest stop was packed full of buses so all we managed to do was use the toilet and hop back on the bus. Forget about getting a drink or snack. The view from the bus of the mountains and our stop to take some pictures was beautiful. There was snow on the ground at this stop so if you wanted to see snow in winter, you might just see it on this tour. 90 minutes in Andorra is really not enough. We just barely visited 3 stores and got lunch. If you really want to do more shopping, it would be best to have a takeaway lunch you can eat quickly or the cold tapas that you don't have to wait for them to cook it. I'm glad our guide gave us some directions and also took some questions when we got to Andorra then left us to spend our time.

I would recommend this tour if you have limited time and would like to see many countries in one day. Also, if you would like to get a sample of how that country is before fully visiting, I would also recommend this tour. If you are a person that wants to take their time and not be rushed, I would not recommend this tour. I loved going through the Pyrenees Mountains and seeing Andorra. Those in itself were worth the whole tour. Our tour guide was pleasant. I understand he was trying to get us to see the most and make the most out of our day, so time was of the essence. I will be honest and say I felt a bit rushed all the time, we only had about 45 minutes to an hour in each place except in Andorra we had about 1.5 hours, but seeing all the places were worth it.

Unorganised and I knowledgable.

The tour was very unorganised. The operator did not seem informed on places to eat, rest areas, or assistance with translating guests, in a foreign country. Very disappointed. The chosen first rest areas had out of service toilets and no paper products. When the 30+ women managed to use the lavatory and get a coffee to go, the tour guide reprimanded the bus, staying we took to much time. The tour was not well organised. The tour guide offered is no information on the history of the areas we were visiting nor did he offer guidance where to go, when we arrived. Additionally, when we arrived in Andorra, the restaurants had 30-40 min wait times, for a 90min visit. I’ve done several trips and I rave about Viator. This was not only an unorganised tour but a really unprepared and unengaged tour guide. For me it was a waste of a full day of my vacation.

Way too long on the bus for such a short time. The bathroom stops were horrific. 3 toilets not working and the smell could make the dead. Most restaurants were full when we arrived and took a bit to find a place to accommodate the 3 of us without reservation. By the time we found a place, ate, paid the bill it was time to get back on the bus. Tour was mediocre at best.
