What To Expect

Take a 2-hour walking tour through the incredible streets of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, stopping along the way to enjoy the neighborhood's amazing architecture and vibrant local culture. Along the way you'll also have the chance to learn about the area's numerous famous buildings and learn about the area's history and people.

Start your walking tour at Barcelona's Plaça Sant Jaume at the time coordinated with the tour operator. Depending on the language of your tour you've chosen and the time of year, your tour may start at either 9:30am, 11:30am or 5pm. From there you'll proceed on foot for an exploration of the Gothic Quarter. During your excursion you'll see some of the city's most famous medieval buildings, like the Plaça del Rei (Royal Palace) and the Palatine chapel of Santa Agata, before taking some time to explore Barcelona's Roman history at the Temple d'August, one of the city's last remaining Roman relics.       Worse Tour Ever

      This was by far the worse tour I have ever booked. The guide spent 45 minutes trying to figure out how the microphone worked. She eventually gave up and said she wouldn’t shout the tour information. The delay this tour caused me to miss another tour I had booked later in the afternoon.

      One of our Favorite tours. The walk through old Gothic Town Barcelona was so educational and our guide was both professional and very humorous. Highly recommend any 1st timers to Barcelona do this tour. It's and easy walk for all ages and took about 2 hours. I liked so much I think I would do it a second time should we be back to Barcelona.

      We had a wonderful time on our walking tour of the gothic area in Barcelona. We had been in the city for several days before taking a tour and walked through the areas on the tour many times. It was enlightening to have such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic person walk us through the areas that we had already seen many times and shine new insights on what exactly we were seeing (or rather missing!). Roman columns and aqueducts and the different architectural influences....it truly made the then familiar setting come alive for us.

      Albert our guide was amazing, had a wonderful experience thru the Gothic quarter. The old city and the perspective of a city since the Romans where here & how it had growth. Plus a few tips of Catalan, politics & restaurants. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

      Luke was an amazing guide. My wife and I love hearing the history of the cities we travel to and Luke did an awesome job showing us the Gothic district and explaining all of the history. I would highly recommend this tour. Luke even helped us find stores we were looking for and pointed out his favorite places to eat. Very friendly very informative, 5 stars!!!

      Really enjoyed the depth of explanations, tying BC history to the present times. Although a bit late (due to a delayed train), our knowledgeable guide made up for it by continuing his thorough and well-paced overview of the original part of the city of Barcellona.

      Our flight into Barcelona was changed due to storms placing us arriving a day late. Even with 24 hours notice, there was no accommodation to reschedule our tour even though we had so flexibility. Don’t schedule this tour unless you are actually already in the city because they will just keep your money and refuse any accommodation.
