We pick up all travelers from their various locations. Some hotels require a ferry boat to come across. if your hotel is on a private island we cannot pick you up at your hotel. What To Expect
After pickup from your Bora Bora hotel or Vaitape Pier at your chosen departure time, board the 4WD vehicle, perfect for scaling any mountain or rough track on the volcanic island. The truck has a shaded roof and open sides for optimal viewing throughout your tour.
Your expert guide circles the entire island—an approximate 20-mile (32-km) route around Bora Bora. Stop at a lookout point at East Matira for exceptional views of the sparkling lagoon bordered by lush green mountainsides. Follow up with more vistas from the Faanui Canon lookout and find evidence left behind by US troops after WWII.
When the 4x4 truck reaches the Faanui Valley, watch artisans demonstrate how to create tie-dye sarongs and make coconut oil, and sample tropical fruits at a small plantation. Your last stop is the Amanahune Bay lookout, which features more stunning views along with rock formations that were once inside the volcanic caldera of Bora Bora.
If you selected the sunset tour, sip a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and listen to live local music while watching the sun slip past the horizon.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed the Bora Bora half day island 4WD tour. Our guide was nice, friendly & knowledgeable about the island, culture & history. We saw many beautiful panoramic views of the island & lagoon. The terrain was rough in places, but the views were worth it. I highly recommend this tour & guide.

Excellent tour led by a knowledgeable Guide, Moana. Full of facts and figures, learnt alot about Bora Bora and how it all started and how it is run today. Excellent view points around the Island giving great views in all directions. Moana was very conscious about our safety during our accents and deceents ensuring safety was paramount. In all an excellent tour by a excellent tour guide.

Manu, our guide, was the best part of the tour. He is very personable and knowledgeable.
He made Bora Bora come alive for us. Glad we had a 4 x 4 as some of the roads were challenging.

Wonderful trip with Manu who showed us some of the most picturesque spots in Bora Bora while playing the ukulele and singing beautiful French Polynesian songs at each of our stops. Folks on other tours at these stops actually stepped aside from their own arranged tours to listen to the songs and Manu’s explanations. We learned a lot about French Polynesian history and culture from Manu, who clearly loves what he does and his island. This worked perfectly as our own arranged shore excursion for Bora Bora on our Windstar cruise. Since we were the only two on this excursion, it felt like a private tour and gave us a great opportunity to chat with Manu and learn.

Manu was an outstanding guide. He showed us parts of the island you could only see from a local. His love for the island came through from his explanations of the culture, people and history of the island. Enjoyed his stories and had a great sense of humor.

Our guide was great! Very knowledgeable and his sense of humor was hilarious. He took us to several look out points for great pictures, and we got to see a demonstration of the tahitian cotton wraps. Bring cash with you for the wraps - I didn't have any on me, so we had to go back later to buy one

The Truck Broke down and it was known by the company there were issues with the truck. The tour guide did all he good and was accommodating. The guide said a full refund would be applied. I have sent this request to Viator. I cannot say if I recommend or not recommend this company or Viator. If the refund comes thru then good. If not then I would not recommend.
