Ok tour but bus sub par

Good guide, however the minibus was below par. At least two of the air vents in the roof of the vehicle were missing which left big holes for air to come through. Some of the information could have been more timely eg at the lunch and swimming stop could have done with knowing that the restaurant stopped serving food at 14:30. The brown lake was amazing though. There was quite a lot of waiting about ie for ferry, at lunch etc.

Was a great day our tour guide was great beautiful part of the world the beaches great probably could have had lunch at the swimming beach instead of the popular fish n chips had to wait to long

The island is very beautiful! One can see lots of animals. We saw Kangaroos, Koalas, Dolphins, Turtles, Sting Rays and wonderful beaches.

Katie our guide was excellent. She worked to ensure everyone on the tour had a great time. The Ocean view, and the shrimp roll we had was outstanding! We will definately tell others.

Loved this tour. Have to admig that we started off the day a bit grumpy as we made sure we were early to the meeting spot to get a good seat and avoid the travel sickness only to find that our tickets were disregarded and we had to wait on roll call...and of course we were last to be called and squeezed into the very back seat of a tiny van with sub standard ac on a very warm day. Buuut our guide was awesome, very upbeat the trip was interesting, Brown Lake was beautiful with the amazing paperbark trees, the gorge walk was absolutely breathtaking and the stop for lunch and the beach was lovely. I dont think the second beach stop was of any benefit and would have preferred more of a track walk to do some koala spotting. We did see a couple of koala during the day which was a real treat. Really enjoyed the tour, definitely money well spent.

An excellent, very full, day trip to North Stradbroke island from our pick up at 9am to our return at 7.30pm. Our driver/ guide, Ross, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our journey. Beautiful beaches, amazing views, great lunch (not included but good value) and wildlife. Highly recommended.

It was an easy day trip, small group. Plenty of time to explore the parts of the island. Rio our guide is pleasant and gave us a brief history of the island. Glad we made this trip and chose it over Gold Coast!!!! Enjoy the view of South Pacific Ocean and be patient to watch the whales do their thing and the playful dolphins always have something up their sleeve.

Orlando was an excellent guide/driver. He was organized and let us know the plans for the entire day. Straddie is a beautiful Island! We were able to see koalas, kangaroos, and sea turtles. The gorge walk is stunning! Highly recommend!
Family friendly and good for first time north stradbroke visitors

Highly recommended with family. Well guided and well planned trip for first time visitors. Lots of locations covered and time given to take a swim at beach. The trip contains smaller group of people and the ferry ride is good with access to the top as well and inside seating. You get to order food almost at every place including ferry. Recommended to carry swim wears and good for kids too.
Great Views, Not Worth the Travel Time

I have mixed feelings about this day excursion from Brisbane. The person I travelled with loved it, though admittedly is more of a beach person than I am. The views from the walk on Stradbroke Island are amazing. The water is gorgeous, not too cold, and then sand does not burn your feet. This guided experience also stops at Brown Lake. It begins with a drive from Brisbane city center (145 Ann Street) of about 50 minutes, followed by a ferry ride (45 minutes). Driving between places adds to the journey time as well. For me, the time it took to get places was simply not worth the time there. Also, our guide/driver was quite aggressive behind the wheel and myself (along with at least two others) did not always feel safe. Also, a bottle of water is provided at the beach (the last stop), therefore it is necessary to bring your own drink or ask for it earlier in the trip. A hat, water, and sun block are essential.

Really great tour. From the prompt pick-up to the on-time drop off there was nothing to fault. Our driver/guide Katie was excellent. She engaged everyone in the day and kept the activities running on time. The Island is beautiful and I felt we saw the highlights. There was a good combination of sightseeing, a walking tour and free time at a simply beautiful beach.

Great trip to Straddie! It was the perfect day of site seeing and eating local food! It was unfortunate that we were not informed that there would be opportunities to swim as we didn't bring any swimming attire.

Incredible tour with amazing views and a great tour guide (thanks Rio!). Very relaxing and slow paced, allowed time to see everything and soak it all in rather than rushing from place to place.

Orlando was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. North Stradbroke Island is an amazing place and I enjoyed the wide range of activities. Beaches, Wildlife, Brown Lake, lookouts and my favourite, The Gorge Walk - spectacular. Unhurried, casual, a great day out. Thank you Orlando for a wonderful day.

Enjoyed the tour of North Strathbroke Island! Our tour guide, Orlando has shown us great places of the Island, he took time to explain the history behind the Island, explained great insights on places that we've visited on the Island. Had a good time with bunch of the group. It's great to have a tour guide along and going with a small group of travellers, especially if it's your first time going to a place. Also, you have opportunity to make some friends & connections along the way.

Perfect for single traveller and/or small group! I had a tour with group of 10 and a van was super clean in my first impression. Tour guide gave us plenty of time for us to look around and enjoy. Tour ran on time. We had diverse range of age in the group and we all get along well - made me feel like traveling with family :) Definitely 5 star to travel with hit the road!
