Over-priced and trapped.

We went for a two hour trail ride on horseback. At the end the caballeros suggested tips of 20-30% ($30-50) would be appropriate. This made us feel unsafe as we had no cell service and we were reliant on them for return passage. We were pursued into the hut by the hard faced staff and reluctantly gave a small tip. My lady did not have a chance on the saddle she was given. The staff could not shorten the stirrups enough for her to reach them properly and she might as well have been a sack of potatoes in the saddle. And then after being pursued for tips we were offered a package of photos for $180. They negotiated down to $50 which should have been $30. The prominent tip jars on the tequila tasting tables made it clear that although this was supposedly included, there would be a server expecting money. We signed up agreeing to $170 for a 2 hour trail ride, pickup and drop off and would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Hi, if you can please send me name of guide, so I can follow up on this… I beleive we are the only company that lets you take cell phones… you were not forced to buy pictures. There is nothing unsafe about the company… sorry if it’s your first time out of your country and you felt that way…

Quick background: I had booked this tour at the last minute the night before and appreciated the text communication with the company regarding logistics with the cruise ship tender process. I have to admit I was a little surprised the next day when everyone on the shuttle had selected the ATV tour and I was the only one who had selected horseback riding. We rolled up and only two horses were saddled...one for me and one for the guide. To the company's credit, they honored the reservation and didn't cancel my tour and they never once tried to get me to switch to the ATV tour. Although a little nervous to go out by myself, I ended up having a WONDERFUL private horseback ride on the beach! Alberto was a terrific guide and we even joked how we were on a blind beach date and that I now had a "Cabo boyfriend." I am glad I booked this tour and I truly had a really beautiful ride on the beach enjoying the sunset and waves by horseback. Thanks for a great time!

The experience was ok, but they have people soliciting timeshares and they will take your money!!! I do not recommend this to ANYONE!!! This is unacceptable! Please watch out for these people and the event! They took our money and they will take yours!!! ALSO there is a $25 park fee EXTRA along with your REGULAR TICKET!!!

The most memorable part of the experience was being able to see the beach and the landscape from a different perspective. I’ve only been on a horse a handful of times. The horse was calm and the guide was awesome !

If you know how to ride, this will be an amazing venture (recommend getting the private tour upgrade). If you do not know how to ride, it is still fun but a bit frustrating at times. Our guide, Joey, was helpful and informative. My partner is a fairly accomplished rider, and she got to gallop along the beach. I am a novice, and had some trouble getting the horse to keep up. The tequila tasting is not the highlight, being basically a sales pitch to buy tequila.

Our horseback ride on the beach at sunset was magical. Alberto was an awesome guide who made sure we had an excellent time on a very safe ride. We even saw whales off the coast as we rode down the beach! Highly recommend this tour when in Cabo..

Experiencing the sunset on the beach was beautiful, however the experience of riding the horses with atvs racing around us was not enjoyable. Very noisy, dusty and not relaxing at all. The horses were not matched well for our level and my daughters horse was slow and was always far behind. My horse was skinny and too small for my almost 6 ft tall body.

Pick up and drop off went well! The beach was absolutely gorgeous, this is a great tour to do when in Cabo. Please wear pants if you don’t want your legs to be raw the next day! The horses weren’t all well behaved, but I think that’s probably tough to accomplish. The only thing I found strange, was the tour guide requesting an extra $10 from everyone to make the horses run on the beach. They were also pretty pushy with the tips, not very professional. I would have tipped them had they not been so aggressive about it. Also, the photos are too expensive. Mine would have been $80 for only me, so if you want photos take your phone. Maybe bring a small crossover bag or make sure you have a pocket it won’t fall out of. The tequila tasting was yummy, you only get to try a few though. I think they had a selection of 9 or 10 and they let us pick 3. Overall, it’s worth the views on the beach and the horseback riding is fun if you’re somewhat confident in a horse.

The Baja Bunch was EXTREMELY fabulous with us. Ignacio was so helpful and professiional. Our guide was Chino and he was charming and entertaining. Paul is really nice. The entire group of everyone at Baja made it super fun and we loved it alot! We'll definitely be back and will recommend this to everyone.
