For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour. We do not offer transportation from hotels outside of the tourist area, such as Hard Rock, Nobu, or Four Seasons (these are approx. 50 min. away from the tourist area); for those hotels, we will pick you up at our standard meeting point: PLAZA GALI, Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.

  • At the time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at the time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
  • We do not use boats, all our water activities start from the beach.
  • Participants must be at least 6 years old
  • The price per person is the same for both children and adults.
  • Our activities take place on the beach and there are no locker facilities, however, you can safely leave your personal belongings in the transportation.
  • Departure Time 9 a.m and 2 p. m. available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
  • We recommend as early a start as possible as in the mornings there is less wind and fewer waves, so the conditions are usually more favorable.
  • Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.
  • As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind and jellyfish.
  • Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The guys were great! They were knowledgeable about our destination and surroundings. They were very patient with me. I am not a strong swimmer they helped me and was very patient. They also guided me and my hubby to great spots along the reef to see sea creatures! Would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing trip, highly recommended, very knowledgeable guide

This day trip was amazing, and allowed me to snorkel at 2 amazing beaches (Santa Maria and Chileno), I would not have seen otherwise in my short trip to Cabo (unless you stay at nearby hotels). Above all,, Luis was very knowledgeable, friendly guide. I was the only person that day, but my trip was not cancelled (unlike it would be, and was, with some other tour companies). Instead Luis made a lot of effort to show me everything (including pointing out all the different different fish types when snorkeling), and gave me plenty of time to explore the waters at my own pace. Highly recommended trip!

Once again everything I booked through Viator was just in place. Hugo picked us up and drove us to Chileno Bay where he set up a shaded spot with a cooler of water and granola bars. Hugo was amazing! So kind and cool. He had wetsuits and all the snorkeling gear for us and took us to where there were so many neat fish to see. The beach was perfect and such a great vibe. We will likely go back tomorrow. If you go (and you should) bring a beach bag of towels, snacks and drinks (I.e. beer, sodas, chips and even sandwiches).

Misread tour as it comes up under sail search so we thought on a boat to access snorkelling. That’s on us, but tour is really just a pick up and dump at each beach. Guide says snorkel out there and sits and does nothing or yaks on phone. All in all, not worth anything close to what they are charging and I cannot recommend. Snorkelling itself was ok… nothing great.

It was a little stormy the day before so visibility wasnt super clear but we did get to see some beautiful fish and a friendly pelican. Something to note is that we only went to 2 beaches, there isn't a boat you swim to the area from shore and the water is a little choppy if it's windy which makes it a little tiring. Both beaches are free to visit with no parking fee. We didn't see the pink sand and no sea lions, but the water was warm and I'm sure on a nice day it would've been better.

Scuba diving in Chileno Bay

I had a great time scuba diving with my amazing tour guide Maury Sanchez! Maury brought us to Playa Santa Maria and Chileno Bay. We saw a variety of specifies and colorful fishes on our trip! I’ve been snorkeling once in the past with murky waters and barley saw anything but this time we were met with a school of fish. Maury knew exactly where the fishes would be located and helped scout for different sea creatures and would call us over when he would see one! The van had AC at the whole time to help battle with the heat and cold water and snacks were provided the entire time. Would highly recommend this tour if you’re a first timer!

It was a nice time for our daughter who wanted to snorkel but disappointing that the two bays advertised were not the ones we went to. The guides said Santa Maria Cove would be choppy and maybe not safe so, of course, everyone picked safety first without the option of going to Chileno Bay. We only drove 5 minutes from the last pick up to a public beach in Cabo and kayaked to a very crowded pelican beach that was crazy busy and not relaxing at all. The guides were very kind and accommodating but we didn't get what we thought we were paying for or experience anything new.

We extend our sincere apologies for not being able to guide you to the bays on this occasion. Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather. On the day of your visit, there was a nearby tropical depression present. This led to challenging conditions for the Chileno and Santa Maria bays due to their exposed geographical positioning, resulting in rough waves and limited visibility. In contrast, the bay at Cabo San Lucas benefits from natural protection provided by the rock arch formation, leading to clearer visibility. We presented an alternative tour as an option, which would have provided an opportunity for better snorkeling conditions and enhanced enjoyment. While this upgraded option does entail an extra cost of 10 USD per person compared to your original booking, we ultimately chose not to impose this additional fee. Furthermore, we offered you the choice to cancel your tour entirely and receive a full refund. It's worth noting that all beaches in Cabo and Mexico are public by law, meaning there are no private beaches. During peak summer vacation periods, beaches naturally become more crowded. We're delighted that you found value in our guides, and we look forward to the possibility of welcoming you back on your next visit. We took 3 tours while on our 10 days vacation in Cabo and this tour and the guide were the best ones! The tour was very well-organized. The tour guide was a friendly, patient, helpful and a very pleasant person. We had nice snorkeling at 2 beaches. The water was a bit rough to go to the reef so we were given time just to swim in the ocean which we liked and appreciated. I wish our other 2 tours were like this one. Highly recommended.

It was amazing!. The guides made us feel safe and check all our snorkeling gears, talk us through the dos and donts and made us all have fun!! They even brought mangoes fallen from a tree which is delicioso!. We saw tons of fishes and corals. They also do pick up and drop off straight at your hotel. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. We will definitely do more tours with them.

Maury was the best tour guide ever! So friendly and knowledgeable about marine life. He swam down several times to bring things up and show us, like sea urchin and jelly fish. We saw so many fish, eels, and sea turtles. He catered to all of our needs!

Very disappointed with what could have been great experience

We were met at the hotel by Michael, who informed us that my wife and I were the only ones on the tour that day. I explained that my wife had only snorkef once before while did a fair bit a a child and a few times since and am generally comfortable in the water. I thought this was our chance to get instruction and build my wife confidence Michael did nothing to assist us not mask fitting or any other tips. She struggled getting thru the surf and never got to a comfortable level, Meanwhile Michael was on his paddle board up to a 100 feet away - no assistance whatsoever. After a fairly short swim we got back to the beach, my wife exhausted and required my assistance out of the water and to settle down her nerves. She did not swim at the next beach . Next we went to chileno beach. Michael sat on the sand and pointed to the rocks on the right and said that is where you go. I did this swim by myself. I am pretty comfortable in the water however I had reservations about going off in strange waters completely by myself, there were no other swimmers even close. Michael sat on the beach didn't move - no guiding there. The locations and fish we saw were fine but it could have been so much better.

Super snorkeling with HIGH TIDE in Cabo

Allan was a very informative and friendly guide. We were picked up at our hotel ahead of schedule and promptly taken to the snorkeling location. We had email communication 24 hrs. before the excursion to make sure we had our towels etc. The day was sunny but windy so we went to playa Santa Maria because it was very protected from the waves and current. Allan had all the gear, masks, snorkels, fins and wetsuits. The water was 75 degrees so we opted to go without any wetsuits. We had our own snorkels and fins. There is a short 300 yard walk from the parking lot to the beach but it is on a partially covered paved walkway that was very easy to access. We had the 9:00 a.m time slot and were in the water and swimming at 9:02. We swam 45 minutes and the fish were fantastic. There were many varieties of small fish. We returned to our gear on the beach where Allan was watching it. He gave us a choice to leave for the other beach or we could stay and checkout the opposite side of the cove. Since the wind picked up we decided to stay. He provided water and gave more advice where to swim and off we went for another 50 minutes and saw even more quantities of fish. It exceeded our speciation standards! We gathered our gear and returned back to the van. The parking lot has outdoor showers and place to wash gear off and restrooms. This is a public beach so we may Uber there next time. It was worth the money to have someone experienced in the area to try first and give us direction. You don’t want to snorkel just anywhere off the beach in Cabo because of the dangerous currents and waves. Thanks Allan!
