Transportation has to be reserved at least 48 hours prior to the tour departure. - Please be at the hotel lobby 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. - Drivers will wait no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. - If your hotel is not listed above, please contact us and we will get back to you with your pickup information.

What To Expect

In the evening, make your way to the marina in Cabo San Lucas and board the Tropicat, a luxurious catamaran. Order unlimited drinks from the open international bar while the crew serves a variety of appetizers.

The 2-hour jazz cruise takes you sightseeing around natural attractions such as Pelican Rock, Lover's Beach and Neptune's Finger. See where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean at Land's End, and glide past the Arch and a sea lion colony while you search the waters for migrating whales. 

Relax to the soothing sounds of smooth jazz while you pair chef-prepared canapés with a selection of premium wines. Keep your camera on hand to capture shots of a vivid sunset. After an unforgettable evening, your tour concludes at the marina pier.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Very enjoyable sunset cruise. From start to finish, the crew was very attentive and friendly. Drinks were plentiful and the food was great. It was very relaxing, with great scenery and music. Would highly recommend to those who want to enjoy some light music, drinks and views. And it is a full bar, not just wine.

Wonderful evening experience

The crew was fantastic! From our driver who picked us up and delivered us back to our resort, to the captain, bartender and crew who made sure our drinks were never empty, they were all terrific. We were glad we paid attention to prior reviews who commented on it getting cold once the sun started to set. The crew handed out lap blankets but we were glad we also had light jackets with us. For a nice enjoyable evening experience, this is a must-do!

This Jazz & wine cruise was a wonderful experience! Calm ambiance and amazing service. The cruise had 62 people, but the catamaran was big and it didn’t feel too crowded at all. Wine was regular, but there was a good amount of options and cocktails as well. Charcuterie was very nice, and it was refilled constantly to make sure nothing runs out. When the sun went lower, we were offered blankets to stay warm. We would definitely do this again! (Hint: the earlier you show up to the meet up location, the earlier you get to go to the catamaran to reserve a nice spot for yourself!)

The cruise is awesome the staff of pez gato go above and beyond. The appetizers are good but last year when I booked this cruise there was a better selection of cheeses. Albeit still a great cruise and we did see some whales. 😊

Must do when in Cabo

Best time EVER. The music was so good. I couldn’t stop dancing. Beautiful scenery. We got to see natural beauty of Cabo including stingrays. The food was delicious and the hospitality exceeded expectations. This is a must do when you come to Cabo!!!

Too Crowded

Too crowded. This was a premium sunset tour, more expensive than most others. Just too many people made it difficult to move around, etc.

We do not promote this activity as something for a small gruops of people, if that is what you are looking for. As you can read in the tour description, this is a ship with a capacity of 80 Passengers. We are currently working with just the 80% of the capacity, which means that we allow 68 passengers on board. This with the purpose that clients can be more comfortable on board. And the clients have enjoyed it, we are surprised you felt that way.

Disappointing Wine and Jazz Cruise

It was a glorified boat ride at best, NOT a wine and Jazz cruise. Wine selection was poor but there was plenty of whiskey, tequila and beer. So, if you are looking for an Actual wine cruise this is not for you. Snacks and hourderves were good. Also, tansportation was supposed to pick us up and at Hilton Los Cabos Azul and instead went to Hilton Los Cabos so we had to pay for an Uber. Not the end of the world but definitely did not benifet from the free transportation.

It was disappointing to have nice jazz music playing then DMX with vulgar language playing right next to you on the next boat over. Plastic wine glasses would have been nice than plastic cups.

The humpbacks put on quite a show for us as the sun disappeared behind the horizon and the sky exploded into shades of pink, red, and orange. Unlimited cocktails, delicious apps, and incredible views. A night we will always remember.

Perfect Party Cruise Alternative

So glad we opted for this Jazz Sunset Cruise. The vibe was perfect with an eclectic mix of fellow travelers looking for a more relaxed yet fun sunset cruise experience. Good music and a great boat crew. The food (expansive charcuterie) and plentiful drinks were ideal. The crew were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go out with them again.

This was our second day in Cabo, San Lucas, and our second time on the Tropicat. Our first experience was so enjoyable we had to try to capture it again. Our first experience was so enjoyable. We had to try to capture it again two years later. It was absolutely as wonderful as the first time. The crew are so hospitable, the charcuterie is delicious and plentiful, and the wine and liquor selection is very good. However, the view and the sunset are definitely the stars. Please do not miss an opportunity to enjoy this cruise. you will only be cheating yourself! One last note, purchase the photographs at the end of the cruise. We’ve done it both times. For $30 we get some of the best pictures taken of us! The photographer is fantastic.
