What To Expect

Your boat trip begins in the port of Marina Grande. Meet your skipper, board your boat, and give your feet a rest as you see many of Capri’s top highlights in 1–2 hours from the water.

Navigate past seaside attractions such as the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, and the Faraglioni, all while benefiting from unobstructed views from the comfort of the boat deck.

A main highlight of this trip is an optional visit to the Blue Grotto, one of the most popular attractions on the island. This option adds one hour to the length of the tour to ensure you have enough time to wait in potential lines to see the famous sea grotto.

  • If the Blue Grotto is closed, due to bad sea conditions, the tour will last just 1 hour.
  • To ensure the smooth running of the tour, the boat can wait a maximum of 30 minutes for the visit of the cave, sea weather conditions permitting. If the waiting is longer than 30 minutes, you will return to the port and have the possibility to take another boat, which will transfer you directly to the Blue Grotto
  • Blue Grotto is a National Museum and being so, no one can sell the tickets apart them
  • In winter season (from the 1st of October to the 31st of March) the meeting point is at Lase Capri Ticket Office, in Via Cristoforo Colombo 69.
  • Travellers must be provided with masks.
  • Travellers will undergo temperature screening.
  • On board the safety distance of 1 meter will be guaranteed.
  • Sanitation will be guaranteed at the end of each service.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 100 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We were late for our tour because my phone broke and they were gracious and helpful in allowing us to join a later tour. We enjoyed seeing Capri from the sea and had no problem skipping the blue grotto as it was very very busy. The captain/guide was funny and energetic and I would definitely recommend this tour. Great value for money!

I have been happy with many Viator trips. This was just average. The boat was fine. The blue grotto portion was difficult and on a very small boat thst I did not like at all.

It was amazing experience, the pilot will announce in Mic about the importance of each and very place we are looking at. It was great experience, we even passed through the famous grotto with huge arch. Blue grotto was closed unfortunately so we could not go in but it was still very good experience.

Beautiful boat tour

Went to the 11:15 slot which wasn’t as full as the earlier tours. The tour itself was really good, explanations given, moments given so pictures could be taken. When we was taken to the Blue Grotto, there were a number of boats waiting so we were told the tour was ending as explained in the terms. There was an opportunity to go back and que for another boat which takes you directly there but we just didn’t have the time. If you really want to see the Blue Grotto (weather permitted of course) I would suggest, make sure you have enough time so you can go back if the que is to long or book a private boat.

Due to weather our boat to the island was cancelled and we couldn’t make the excursion. I requested a refund from the company hours before the tour started and they wouldn’t give me a refund. Not the best of service and didn’t even give me an option to reschedule.

The tour itself was a 5! I gave it a 4 because the meeting point was incorrect. We were lucky- had beautiful day and calm water so we got to visit the Blue Grotto! Very fun experience. Great way to see the island’s highlights- so different from water. The meeting point was easy to find, but no one was there! Luckily, someone told us to just take our vouchers to the general ticket booth to get our tickets! They should have just put a sign on the door!

This was a great tour around the island of Capri! So many beautiful sights to see, the tour guides were informative and funny, and the boat was clean and comfortable! Unfortunately, the Blue Grotto was closed when we went, but it was still a great trip!

Beautiful cruise around the Isle of Capri. The captain kept us entertained with the history and threw in jokes too. Unfortunately due to high tide we couldn’t go to the Blue Grotto but we were given the option to go later.

Great boat tour even though the waters were rough the captain was amazing. I would have liked more history of the island as opposed to just seeing the sites. One could book this tour without Viator as there are so many boat tours available in the marina.

Absolutely beautiful scenery! I was a bit disappointed I was not able to see blue cave. Once we did the tour of the island, we were told we had to get on a separate boat to go see the blue cave. Did not feel that had been explained properly. Tour of the island itself was well done and our guide was good.

This was the best value of an excursion we’ve had so far in our European vacation. Our guide, Christian, was both entertaining and informative. We were unable to see the blue grotto (the wait would have been over an hour), but we totally understood. It was very busy with boats everywhere trying to get in - this is not the tour’s fault. We would highly recommend this excursion.

If you’re looking for a tour specifically staying on a boat and going around the island I would suggest this. If you’re looking to get off/swim/explore this is NOT a good purchase. Option of blue grotto is false. We ended less than an hour of our tour when it states up to 2 hours. We did not even go near the blue grotto. Total waste of money and time. Pay the extra money for a small group or vip yacht tour, it’s worth it. You see so much more of the island and can actually get off the boat and swim.

We loved this little boat tour around the island of Capri. The guide gave us a 1 hour tour around Capri in Italian, Spanish, and English. This gave us the opportunity to see the famous Faraglioni rocks and ride under the arch. We opted for the "without Blue Grotto" option since we had heard horror stories about wait times and it wasn't really on our must see list. It did seem like there were a few folks on our boat who were disappointed we didn't stop there, so not sure how that works when some want to go and others don't! If you're looking for an inexpensive way to see the island, especially if visiting for a day, book this tour!
