Based on our experience and due to long waiting lines in front of the cave, entering the Blue Grotto is not advisable on a 2-hour boat tour and therefore not included in this tour. For those interested in visiting the Blue Grotto, we suggest to add an extra hour.
For those arriving from Positano, please consider booking one of our 12 PM slots or later, as ferries from Positano are often cancelled in the early morning or delayed. In case of late arrival, we cannot guarantee the tour. Thank you.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Best Way to Tour Capri

Touring Capri by boat is definitely the best way to see the natural beauty of the island. It is also wonderful getting away from the crowds on land. Marco is an excellent captain and he made the trip memorable.

We had a lovely time on our private boat tour. The trip started bit behind schedule, but we still had two full hours on the boat, which was plenty of time to enjoy the experience. Our guide, Ricardo, was really charming. He suggested we skip the Blue Grotto to avoid crowds and choppy water. Instead, we stopped at the white and green grotto, and swam in several secluded spots around the island. I’m not the best swimmer, so Ricardo provided me with a floaty so I could still get in and enjoy the experience. He also provided swim goggles so we could check out the ocean floor. We streamed music on the boat, including playing That’s Amore when we motored under the Faragiloni. Such a wonderful, memorable time! I would strongly suggest doing the Blue Grotto outside of this boat tour to get the most of your experience. We went to the Blue Grotto early the next day (were second in line) and managed to see it without sitting in line for hours. The boats waiting were bobbing around for quite some time and passengers had to transfer from boat to boat, which looked a little rough. If you stay overnight on Capri, you can be the first ones to arrive and avoid the insane crowds. Plus, Capri after the day trips have left is absolutely magical.

Our tour of Capri was one to not be forgotten. We got lucky that the morning weather was not so great and the tours were not going out. We were able to reschedule later that day when the weather was much better. Bright blue sky and shining sun. We toured around the whole island seeing many of the grottos and sights and famous houses etc. our guides provided some information on how natural formations came to be. Certain lore on specific spots around the island. A couple of shots of limoncello to boot were perfect. Our guides were gracious enough to take photos of us for us. Getting out to swim through the green grotto was exhilarating. All in all it was a wonderful ride around Capri

Our tour guide was so friendly, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and let us swim whenever we wanted! We had a fabulous time and got to explore multiple grottos. The island itself is beautiful and the boat takes you around the entire thing. Please book this experience! You absolutely won’t regret it!

It seems overpriced but is a unique, worthy experience you should not miss if you have had a long trip to get to Capri! Our captain Davide was very helpful and listened our requests to visit specific spots, including the green grotto for a short swimming time. Recommended!

I really don’t recommend. The boat was never going to fit in the blue grotto as an option to even check it out. We were fine before we even got on not seeing it in case there was a long line. It also was VERY rushed. The captain races around the island with 5 minutes of swim time. No music, no drinks, no snacks. Felt rushed for the entire 2 hours. I would recommend looking into another company. There were SO many other options at the port itself.

Hi Lindsay, thank you for your review. I understand your feelings about the Blue Grotto, but as we state more than once on our sites, the Blue Grotto is optional, especially with our 2-hour tours, because it depends on unpredictibale conditions. Of course you have to change to a smaller raw boat to enter it and that's why in high season, there could be a long line. And I'm sorry, this is something all other options and companies in Capri have in common! Regarding food & beverage, we include only soft drinks in the price. So, I presume you are referring to alcoholic drinks. Music isn't mentioned anywhere as an inclusion, but if you ask our skippers, they will surely put some music on.

Expérience was amazing forme the organisation to the boat tour. I book a private tour for me and my wife it’s was wonderful. Great weather, the boat is very nice with a sofa on the front to enjoy the view. Also thank yo Ciro the skipper. Good advice, very kind doing is best for us. We were unfortunate we couldnt have the full experience since the sea was rough. The trip was supposed to be 2.5 hours it was reduced to 1 hour. The skipper was nice and helpful he tried his best to give us info about the coast of capri and the grottos.

We had the best time on our excursion. Our captain Hugo was amazing. He gave us the option of what we wanted to see, the whole Island or a slower cruise and stop at a few caves an swimming spots. We opted for the latter. We got to swim through the green cave with was incredible. He explained to us us to various points and explained the history of the island. It’s worth the experience and would definitely would recommend!

If you have the extra money to spend a bit more and do it with a partner, I highly recommend. Wonderful skipper, great at driving close to the rocks. We got to swim in the green grotto alone which was an amazing experience.

The skipper was very friendly and helpful, it couldnt be better. Note to all the future travelers, dont go to blue grotto you will lose your valuable time. Instead go to anacapri and take the bus and go on foot
