Get out on the waters of Charleston Harbor during this cruise aboard an 84-foot-tall (25-meter) classic tall ship. As the crew hoists the sails of the schooner, you'll glide past some of the city's historical sights and watch for dolphins in the water. Drinks are available for purchase on board.   • Guests are welcome to go below deck or stay in the shade of the sails to keep out of the sun
  • Service animals allowed

  • Most travelers can participate
  • The Schooner Pride is not wheelchair accessible. We will do our best to accommodate disabled persons, but there are 5 stairs then a gangplank to cross to board. The "head" is also below deck and you will need to negotiate stairs to use it.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 49 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A wonderful way to spend a Monday afternoon. Just a ninety minute trip in the bay, no narration just good conservation and views. We were lucky to have great weather and the waters were calm. Our tour was not that crowded (we were part of a group of ten) so I'm not sure how it would be with more people. The crew was friendly and the drinks were good. If you want a guided tour this is not it but if you want a relaxing, low key trip then check this out.

This was a great and relaxing tour around Charleston Harbor. The weather was perfect, the waters were calm, and the crew was great and attentive. My only negative is I wished for a bit of narration during the trip. There are many historic points around the Charleston waterfront, But none were pointed out unless someone asked.

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The schooner was lovely and the crew was even better. The weather was chilly but the perfect winds for sailing. We really enjoyed talking to other passengers as well as the crew. When the sails were raised it was pure Majic. Even the dolphins cooperated and put on a show for us. Best money we spent the entire week!

It was my first time on a sailboat and I enjoyed it so much! It was interesting watching how the sails went up. It was cold and the water was choppy, but it was a great ride. Will definitely do it again!

The team was wonderful!! I had booked this about two months ago. Had I waited till the day to book it I would not have booked it because it was so cold and so windy. However, I was extremely nervous because of how windy it was and being my first time I don’t know how much is too much for a sailboat to be leaning. But as I watch the team do their stuff and I watched them when I was nervous, just talking they were calm, they were not worried at all and that really helped me out. All three of them were amazing and so so sweet to me and my kids. I will definitely do this again and hope for better weather.

Very nice cruise. Nice wind, nice water. We saw about 5 dolphins. The crew was very accommodating, served beverages and answered any questions. Offered to let my granddaughter steer the ship. Enjoyed this very much.
