What To Expect

At your chosen departure time make your way to the Streeterville neighborhood near Navy Pier to meet your guide and group. Get set up with your helmet and bike, then pedal off through the River North neighborhood, across the Chicago River, and over to Fulton Market, which is packed with hip restaurants and tech companies.

Stop to taste a burger and beer at the historic Fulton Market district. Pedal past Google’s headquarters and take in some vibrant street murals on the way to Ukranian Village where you can taste what are arguably the world’s best pierogis. Taste a top-rated taco while you take in some historic 19th-century mansions en route to the hip neighborhood of Wicker Park. Then head on over to the 606 trail, a bike path that follows a disused El line, and then stop at a pub in Bucktown to sample the ‘Chicago handshake,’ made with a local liqueur called Malort.

Your tour ends with a chocolate tasting in Old Town.

We ran late and we're ever so grateful that they let us get our bikes and meet up with the tour guide at one of the stops. Tour guide was Great! The biking was a beautiful scenery. It was hard to hear the history from the guide at times because your on a bike :) Do it if you want the experience and knowledge of bike riding in Chicago. If you want more food history, I would recommend a walking food tour. It was still great fun! Thanks!
Not your typical tourist excursion

Great way to see a non-touristy side of Chicago. Enjoyed riding through the neighborhoods and sampling diverse foods. Great for foodies who want exercise as well

This was an awesome tour: great food, great company, and a fantastic tour guide. I felt very safe riding around Chicago with Gabe, our tour guide. He made the tour alot of fun with interesting and entertaining narration of the history of the areas we visited and foods we sampled. If you are going to do one tour in Chicago, this is the one to do.
Lots of fun!
