What To Expect

In the morning, find your way out to the neighborhood of Frederiksberg west of Copenhagen’s city center.

Join the other participants of this small-group class by following the demonstration from a professional pastry chef as they first take you through different baking techniques and skills, such as kneading, rolling, and folding the dough.

With the basics covered, you’ll learn hands-on how to make several different Danish pastries, receiving advice and tips from the pastry chef as you go. Once your creations are finished baking, tea and coffee will be served and you can taste the final products of your baked goods.

At the end of the class, the recipes used will be emailed to you, allowing you to take your new skills home with you.

I highly recommend doing this. It was a lot of fun and we were taught a lot. He is very knowledgeable and teaches you how to do everything in a very understandable way. The pastries were delicious and we got to go home with a lot!

This class was amazing! My friend and I had lots of fun learning about danish pastries and our intructor Mr. Terrible was very knowledgeable on every part of pastry making from start to finish. We got to take a home so many extra pastries that we made during the class as well as enjoy a few while they were still hot! We even got the recipes of the pastries we made as well as some additional ones so that we could make them when we got back home. If you are looking for a unique experience that gives you an insight into a portion of danish cooking this is the class to take!

THOROUGHLY enjoyed this class! And have come to have a huge appreciation for those talented enough to create pastry! After seeing what goes into making a cinnamon roll (one of FOUR pastries we made) you will never taken them granted again. We each left the 3-1/2 class with 12 pastries each, which we ate for the next few days. Chef expects a lot out of his students but is both thorough and precise when explaining each process.

We loved the class and the pastries were delicious❤️ The teacher, Frederic, is super organized, funny and professional. In this class, you are about to learn how to make pastry dough, custard cream, marzipan cream, how to use tools, how to fold pastry dough, lots of different techniques. Then you will taste your own creations and you will take lots of pasties home! We booked our class the day before departure so we will take some home and freeze but we also shared some with others we met along the trip. You will meet some nice people and this was memorable event during our trip in Denmark. Make sure to be on time since the class has lots of steps to follow.

Learning the art of Danish pastry making was great. We learned techniques from a very experienced pastry chef and made several types of pastry. We had educational segments in how to make the dough and the vanilla cream. We were able to take home what we made. The session flew by and was highly professional, collaborative and in a wonderful environment and atmosphere. Thanks Chef!
