Our guides weee phenomenal! They took us to several reefs, making sure we had the opportunity to see as much marine life as possible. Our guide found starfish, nurse sharks, conchs, lobster, parrot fish, a green turtle and more. Our last stop at El Cielo was the most beautiful beach on the island by far. Enjoying the shallow water with a beer and fresh ceviche was icing on the cake. We would do this trip again and absolutely with the same captain and crew.

Great activity for all ages

Worth the money!

The team was so amazing! Very friendly and catered to us well with all four of our kids. They helped us with our smaller kids so we could enjoy snorkeling and see the fish, sea turtles, and sting rays. They even let us board early. Very nice people! Well worth the money!! They did supply everything we needed as well!

Amazing trip

Our guides were wonderful and accommodating. We saw so much sea life, and ended surrounded by rays eating the most delicious boat-made ceviche.

guides were super nice and helpful, and accomodating with two small children. stayed in shallow area longer for the kids. saw fish and stingrays- had shade on boat ( no bathrooms so know in advance). a nice experience! marina is not at same place the ferry's dock from Playa del Carmen, so additional taxi is needed to get over to that marina. We didnt realize so more time was needed . About a 15 min. ride.

Wonderful day snorkeling

We had a great day with Migel and Angelo. The water was a bit rough but we managed ok. If you’re prone for motion sickness do take what works for you just in case. Migel was so nice and polite. He was eager to show us all the spots to view sea life. We saw fish a sea turtle starfish and rays. Angelo made us the best guacamole on the boat. Fresh !! He drove us back closer to the shore where it wasn’t as rough Had a fun day

We were VERY much looking forward to this trip from the other reviews. Unfortunately, it was cancelled due to weather which we understood. The problem was that I didn’t get any notification before we went there and we had to pay to take a taxi there and back. When we arrived the office wasn’t open and no one could really tell us what was going on. At 10 when the tour was supposed to start, someone did show up and let us know it was cancelled. The shopkeeper next door was very helpful as well.

We had a fantastic few hours with Panky (snorkel guide) and Alberto (Captain). They were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and we had the best snorkeling experience I have ever had. nurse shark, eagle ray, moray eel, sea turtle, star fish, conch, lobster … and then topped off by chips and homemade guacamole in the ocean while rays swam around us. Also got great underwater photos from Nedi. Marina is a short, safe 15 minute walk from the cruise terminal. Highly recommend

Carlos and Wilbur were excellent guides. Carlos knew all the hiding places so we saw a shark, turtle, stingray, skate, sea stars, barracuda and many fish. Getting to the Marina was an easy cab ride.

You won’t believe you’re there

Are you kidding?? This excursion was not comparable to any we’ve done. We swam right with turtles, starfish, lobsters, barracudas, manta rays, eels, and fish of abundant varieties! Our hosts and photographer added to our experience! They spotted and shared so much marine life! It’s an unforgettable experience!

Highlight of our Thanksgiving family trip

This tour was the highlight of our cruise. Very reasonable price; much cheaper than private boat tours at any other cruise stop. My wife and I and 4 of our children did the tour. Snorkeling was fantastic. Our snorkeling guide Oscar was in the water with us at all times directing us toward the main attractions. We stopped in an area with a few sea turtles and were able to swim within a few feet of them. We snorkeled over a large deeper reef and then over a less extensive shallower reef with many many beautiful fish. I was very disappointed I did not have an underwater camera. It is a must for the next trip. About 90 minutes of snorkeling. It was 45 minutes from port to the snorkeling area. We also spent about 30 minutes at a shallow beach where we watched a number of large stingrays pass by and enjoyed complimentary beers, sodas and a delicious combination of ceviche, chips and melon. I can not say enough about Oscar, our snorkeling guide, who had an infectious enthusiasm about the natural beauty we encountered. Raul, our captain was equally fantastic. We took a taxi from our cruise port because it was about 3 miles from the celebrity pier. There was plenty of complimentary bottled water. We were happy to give them a well deserved tip

Unreliable & wasn’t a private tour

FYI: Cost for 7 people from cruise port to marina was $20 (so $40 round trip). Marina charged another $6 per person once we arrived which was expected but count your change as lady who was collecting the money didn’t give us correct change until I called it out. Boat broke down at first stop after we got in to snorkel, leaving us in the water for over an hour with no boat in sight. We didn’t get the private tour we booked as the boat that rescued us already had a family of 3 and crew of 3 on it. We were tired and cold after being left in water at first stop so long that not everyone even participated in the other stops. Didn’t see much wildlife and was disappointed in experience overall.

A magical experience for our young little family

This was the highlight of our summer! The team was so professional, patient & caring to our young little family. We did the private snorkel tour with our four and seven year old boys. The number of things we saw were so awesome: fish, coral, nurse shark, lobster, sea turtles, star fish, the sting ray sand bar. Omg. Hearing my little guys scream with excitement through their snorkels over the sea turtles was literally the most magical thing. Getting the taxi from port was super easy, and they were very aware of time. They got us back with plenty of time to shop at the port and reboard the ship before the early departure. The ceviche lunch was also so yummy on the sandbar. The team was so amazing and made made us feel safe with our two little dudes. Also I appreciate the option to purchase pictures for lifetime memories. Thank you guys again for such an amazing morning & core memories that will literally last a lifetime. Cozumel was our favorite cruise stop, thank you for showing us it’s beauty.
