Hop into a completely clear kayak on the Crystal River and Three Sisters Springs where you’ll be seeing manatees, turtles, otters, and more on this guided tour. If you’re over 3 years old, you can join this expedition. There are 70 freshwater springs here, and we’ll explore the best one, the Three Sisters Spring. Enjoy all the beauty of this clear, colorful water and its wildlife.

We are located a few hundred feet off of US 19 in Crystal River on NE 1st Street. We have free parking available and we shuttle you to our launch area which is 1/2 mile away. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE DESIGNATED START TIME OF YOUR TOUR. NO REFUNDS IF YOU ARRIVE LATE FOR TOUR

Not recommended for travelers with back problems
No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
Most travelers can participate

Maximum weight of 250 pounds for any rider and 420 pounds for 2 riders
You will be paired with another rider in your party to accommodate maximum participants unless an odd number in your party
You must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time or the tour will leave without you with no refund given.
Youth is considered ages 3 and up
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

I loved the whole experience! 10 out of 10! There will be some manual labor involved, and learning how to navigate a kayak in busy open waters was entertaining but so worth it!!

The kayak was very unstable, the bay was choppy and the kayak not suitable for anything but smooth water. We had to stop on the way back because it wasn’t safe per the wind. There were people snorkeling and we had to be careful for them and it felt very dangerous! Also one of the guests fell getting into the van and cut his elbow on an exposed piece of metal! The guide tried her best but it was awful! There was not any wild life besides a couple of small turtles and a bird. I feel it was not safe and disappointing. I went back to the place I’m staying and saw manatee right by my pier! wish I would’ve just stayed home and not traveled 3 hours to have a horrible trip!

You can't seriously give a thumbs down because it was windy....The conditions change out there by the minute and there is no way of knowing what is going to happen. We go by the forecasts, but in our part of Florida it is EXTREMELY difficult to have an accurate forecast. We use FOUR different forecasting tools and never once are they correct unless it is a big storm or perfect conditions. Anything in between and it is a crap shoot. You can't possibly tell me though that the inside of Three Sisters Springs is not absolutely beautiful and you saw two turtles and a bird?!?!?!?! That has to be the biggest lie I have ever heard in FIVE years of business!!! I can point out that much nature from the docks where we launch!!! As far as the customer cutting his hand, the door panel was ripped off that day from a previous customer and a new panel is being ordered. It's amazing to us that you learned NOTHING about the area, saw no wild life, and did not enjoy Three Sisters Springs... we can not fathom how that is even humanly possible. We read reviews from EVERY one of our guests and another group from your tour stated how amazing it was and how beautiful the springs were. Are they just overly optimistic, or are you overly pessimistic?!?!? Not sure, but something is not adding up :)

Wow! What an amazing experience. We picked the early morning tour with Callie and what a great morning it was. Crystal River is breathtaking. We saw lots of birds, turtles, and a manatee. We were there after the manatee season but still managed to see one. Great excursion thanks to everyone Clear Kayak Tours.

Beautiful Day experience in Natural Florida

1. The personable staff in shack, we're helpful, efficient, sociable 2. The canoe we got was made very uncomfortable by the separated aluminum cross member behind me which poked my back most of my trip. Tried but couldn't adjust my seat as we were rushed as the last to join the group. As result I paddled with great effort laying back instead of sitting up. I was exhausted & left the tour at the Bridge after visiting Three Sisters Springs. My upper right arm hurt for 2+ days afterwards. None of my experience negates the beauty of Natural Florida: gorgeous blue sky with scattered clouds & golden Sun, perfectly clear cool water at the Springs, Just right temp & humidity in late October.

Will never book with Viator again

We didn’t get to experience the activity we paid for because Viator never booked it for us in the operators system! We sadly had to miss on the activity we wanted but the operator was kind enough to put us in a different activity. Viator never called me to apologize for the inconvenience and there was no way I could contact them either. I will for sure never book with Viator again

Better options if you want to see manatee’s

Not very friendly. Very busy in the office and during our tour crowded with people. The guide did not see a manatee all day and we did not either. At the end we had to ho under a bridge, limbo kayaking.

Great job on doing research Angelique! First off it is NOT manatee season when it is 90 degrees, which it states everywhere on the websites. We tell people you will be lucky to see one at all in the summer months. The tour is "Clear Kayak Tour of Three Sisters Springs" not clear tour to view manatees. That's the tour that we operate in "manatee season." Try coming back in the winter if you would really like to have that amazing experience :)

We had a great time. Our guide was a lot of fun and we were able to see a good amount of the bay. We unfortunately didn’t get to see manatees, but the clear bottom kayaks were fun to see down into the water anyway.

What an incredible experience! Highly recommend. Josh was our tour guide and he did an awesome job on guiding us through the bay & springs and pointing out all the wildlife! We did the clear kayaks and could see the manatees swimming u see us. I’d advise doing the earlier tour- 9am because it gets so hot so early!
