Explore the highlights of Kakadu National Park on this action-packed full-day adventure from Darwin. This was an excellent trip, it was a long and very warm day but Becs our guide was amazing, she kept us amused and well informed throughout and did everything she could to ensure we all had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone 5 star experience

Long way for little return

Albeit that we stood on the roadside for 1.5. Hours due to a shredded tyre that had to be replaced. The only thing we saw at Kakadu was some rock art, no water/waterfalls, not what we expected. Over 6 hours on a bus - just not worth it in our opinion.

This trip is not for everyone. First the time on the bus is much longer than you are led to believe from the short description online. The bus did not have very comfortable seats for such a long distance. At the site of the paintings there were significant areas with no steps, just rocks, and no or few railings. People should know this before signing up. That being said, our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and aboriginal history and culture, being a lifelong resident of the area. She did an excellent job of keeping the tour on schedule, watching out for us regarding weather and hazards and making sure we got to see all the art available to us. We marveled at her energy and high spirits considering the high temperatures that day. I could not give a definite yes or no to whether or not I would recommend this trip to a friend. You have to really want to view this art (which we did) and be very flexible to conditions as they unfolded during the day.

The rock paintings at Ubirr and climbing up the rocks for the amazing view of Kakadu were the highlight of my trip. Although I was disappointed there was not much wildlife to be seen, as it was not a wet time of year.

Memorable Experience in Kakadu National Park

We enjoyed our excursion to Kakadu with our guide Dani. She was extremely knowledgeable regarding the life of the indigenous people and the flora and fauna of the area. It was such a wonderful experience to see the rock paintings and learn the stories that went along with the paintings. It is a very long drive from Darwin. Visitors must be prepared for a three-hour drive each way.

Everything really, crocodiles, rock paintings, the landscape. As we were held up by mechanical problems, we arrived at Kakadu layer than anticipated but the bonus was seeing flying Foxes in flight. The company & our driver (Matt) looked after us well.

Interesting tour to Ubirr rock with Aboriginal arts. Great local guide. In my opinion Fogg damm/ crocodile jumping should not be part of this tour - it takes around 1.5h and this tour is long enough. Instead it would be better to do short bush walk to see Kakadu wildlife.

Unmissable tour with lots of ancient art - but plenty of walking over rocks and up hill required.

Great day. Matteo our guide was very knowledgeable and cared about the park. He explained things very well. The short hike to the rock art and the spectacular views of the wetlands were worth the long drive getting there. Was hoping to see a bit more wildlife at Fogg Dam but a minor flaw. So glad we did the tour while in Darwin.
