Night time makes it magical. Fun with camels. Dune bashing and not knowing what’s coming up or what we’re next to. Calm and patient guide. Worthwhile and memorable!

Camels were fun but very quick exactly like 5 minutes. Dune riding awesome! Our guide had us scared a few times. Main downfall is that the pictures have sand boarding which is NOT included with the night desert safari. So pictures should be removed if not truly offered. Also because I was thinking sand boarding was included the price made sense however since it was not included I have no idea why this is more expensive than other tours that do have sand boarding included. I feel like I was jipped so 2 stars are given.

Would not recommend this experience to anyone - seems like we had a different driver from the other reviews who barely talked to us, did not explain anything, and was dangerously driving on the drive back by swerving in and out of lanes to overtake slower drivers. Dune bashing was very short as well and did not meet our expectations at all.

The stars and cloud 'dust' in the night sky, gentle waves of the inland sea lapping on the dunes, racing along the flats and peaks of the junes to arabic music- very other worldly!!

Great experience to have with a group of friends. How often to get to visit a desert, ride camels, and take photos at the edge of the coast? Fun overall and no hassles with the pickup arrangement.

Awesome Adventure for a Long Layover

We had a really long evening layover and this was a FANTASTIC way to spend it! Communication before the tour was excellent. They were prompt and picked up our group of 11 even though we were late because the line for visas on arrival was really long and slow. But we were off for a great adventure! At first, we were a little disappointed to realize the camel ride was very short, but it turns out that time was more than adequate. Next came the dune bashing! What a fun thrill! We had two vehicles so it was frighteningly awesome to watch the one in front of us seem to just disappear off the side of the dune. Nabi made it a lot of fun but we felt safe and in capable hands at the same time. We then sledded down the dune. It wasn’t quite as fast or as long as I had hoped but we laughed a lot through the process! We stuck our feet in the Persian Gulf and then headed back to the airport. He would have stopped for dinner somewhere but we declined because we were afraid it would take too long to get back through the security process at the airport. It didn’t, but we didn’t know that at the time. Overall it was a an amazing adventure and I highly recommend it!

We had a long layover in Doha on our way to our final destination and thought this would be a good way to break up our trip. Mujahid picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Mujahid was a great guide and an expert dune basher! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I do wish it happened in the daytime because the desert landscape would have been quite a sight to see. Definitely worth it.

Mujahid was a great guide and made contact the day before to confirm the pick-up location. He even suggested two hours earlier so we could do a sunset tour instead of a night tour. We didn't get the iconic camel under a starry night photos, but we got gorgeous sunset ones. The camel guy took some nice photos! Dune bashing is quite thrilling but also horrifying if you're afraid of flipping in a car like all my nightmares. I was getting motion sick, so maybe hold a bag if you think you might throw up. We didn't see too many stars because of some factory light pollution, but saw some. The inland sea is cool, but you can't see much at night. The flipside is that I'm glad I wasn't out in the desert in 100+ degrees!

Saleem picked us up from our hotel and drove us to a quad racing track area. This is an add on but it was super fun and I recommend it! 30 minutes was plenty. We got through every course. Then we went on to meet the camels. They were so cool. We got to take photos with them and ride them for a short distance. A long ride would be uncomfortable!! They also have falcons there and you can hold them and see these beautiful birds up close. If they offer you tea or coffee say YES - it is delicious. Then probably the most thrilling part of the trip - Saleem took us Dune smashing. We were not sure was this meant when we booked it but it sounded like fun. We sped around and drove up and over and slid down the dunes and it was SO Fun! Highly recommend Falcon Tours for anything in Qatar!

Javid picked me up at the airport. He was fabulous. We had the best time. I was a solo traveler. He took so many great pictures of me doing everything. The camel ride was wonderful. I loved doing it at night especially. You never knew what was coming up on the dune bashing. You will not be disappointed.

This was by far the coolest experience!! This was my boyfriends first time out of the US and Javid made it extra special for us. The camel ride was amazing!! But the real star of the show was going dune bashing around and sand sledding. We had such a wonderful time and would recommend this tour and Javid 100x over!!

Excellent driver, contacted us via WhatsApp day before and clearly knew what he was doing on the dunes. We even rescued another car that was stuck. The Camel ride is very short , but in 37c, even at night, quite long enough. The sea was warmer than most bath, incredible!
