    At your voucher you will have a link to give you instructions to each meeting point ************* THEY ARE ALSO LISTED BELOW AMBER COVE CRUISE TERMINAL MEETING POINT The meeting point will be outside the port, you have to walk 7 to 9 minutes to the highway then when you are there, walk two more minutes to the left. The tour guide will be waiting for you with a sign from our company R.V. Tours with the name (Waterfalls) below. It will be very easy to meet. According to our experience with other cruise clients, we will be meeting between 30 to 40 minutes after the cruise has arrived. It is recommended that you leave the cruise as soon as possible since other people will be waiting on the bus, also to get to the waterfalls before the big groups. Once the adventure is over and we have had lunch, we will return to the port with plenty of time before the cruise departs. ************* TAINO BAY CRUISE TERMINAL MEETING POINT The meeting point will be outside the port, you have to walk 5 to 7 minutes to the main gate that gives access outside the port where the parking lot is.     Edgar took us on the best excursion in the DR!

    What a wonderful day in the DR. We got off the ship as soon as we could and after a 10 minute walk met Edgar exactly where we expected. My wife, adult son and me were the only ones on the trip. Having a private tour was fantastic. Edgar got us to the park ahead of all the big groups. He handed us off to the local guides and off we went up the mountain. The climb was seriously hard and we rested frequently with water provided. The experience is amazing and you can jump or not jump at several points. The slides are like a water park but made by nature. Edgar met us for authentic Dominican lunch. He then took us for city tour of the umbrella street, pink street the fort and many other sites. He was a fantastic guide who answered questions but didn't talk constantly so we could soak up the full experience. If you take this tour be sure to get some Dominican Gasoline! I'd ask for Edgar if I come to the DR again!

    Our guide, Edgar was amazing, he gave us advise, history, and information on the area. He took us to the waterfall adventure and then around town to see and experience the sites. By far the best excursion we did on our cruise.

    Johnny was on time, professional and advocated for us at the site. The photographer option was a great one and the adventure was great. Can't speak to food because we opted to not eat there but we had a great time. We went in February and there had been rain prior, so the water was cold and the trails a bit muddy. Went with an 8 yr old who was too scared to jump but went down ladders without incidence. Would definitely recommend. Bring cash to tip.

    This Excursion was a Hit with our Family

    We are a family of 7 and this was our first visit to the Dominican Republic and our first time using Viator. It took us a little time at the Amber Cove Port to figure out where to go to meet our contact. We just had to find where "outside" the port gates were. But, when we asked one vendor, he told us exactly where we could find RV Tours waiting. Sure enough, we met Edgar of RV Tours who greeted us warmly in front of the shuttle holding a sign with our name on it! He had been waiting to meet us for 2 hrs. Wow! Edgar was punctual, friendly, and communicated with us throughout the tour. Everything was as he described. He took us directly to the Damajuaga Waterfalls to begin our experience. We were introduced to our trail guides and fitted for lifejackets and helmets. We also had the option to hire paparazzi on site (not part of RV Tours) to follow us along the trail and waterfalls documenting our experience with photos and videos. This package cost an extra $45 and was delivered on a USB flash drive at the end of our tour. This option was well worth it. Our assigned photographer, Ucles, worked hard to keep track of our family members (7) and capture the experience on camera. The hike was scenic and mostly covered in the shade of trees. It was a good cardio climb in but the guides broke it up several times with rest stops. Our 8 year old managed without issue. The water was cool, refreshing, and clear when we were in it. The jumps into the water tested our bravery and the natural waterslides were not to be missed. The jumps were optional but everyone in our family chose to put courage to the test and were so grateful for the opportunity. On our way back from the falls--back to the base for lunch we passed large tour groups just starting up the trail to the falls. Edgar told us previously that the parking lot would fill up and the falls would get busy later in the morning and afternoon as all the cruise booked excursion groups showed up... and this is what we were seeing. We appreciated so much getting there among the first. Included in our excursion was a buffet lunch at the restaurant on site. The food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. We felt so fortunate to get to enjoy an authentic DR meal in the beautiful setting. This excursion was a fantastic experience and we would all highly recommend it! The website tour description was accurate, the tour group smaller than that of the cruise ships, and saved us money vs. booking through the cruise line. Edgar is a superb representative for RV Tours and always remained professional, courteous, and personable. If we could, we would go back tomorrow and do it again. Thank you, RV Tours, and Edgar!
