Overview

Embark on a desert safari that includes several mini-adventures in one tour. First, head outside the city for a dune bashing session. See “Big Red,” a famous dune with sides as steep as a black diamond ski run. Then head to a Bedouin camp to enjoy activities such as camel riding, henna painting, hookah, traditional dancing, a buffet barbecue dinner, and more.

Fantastic experience

Absolutely amazing desert safari. Our guide, Amir, was just fantastic. Really attentive, explained the whole excursion. He was so warm and friendly and took stunning pictures for us. We were picked up from our hotel. Enjoyed a range of activities including quad biking on sand dunes, camel rides and great entertainment with a buffet meal. His driving skills are outstanding! Amir went above and beyond to make this a special experience for our family. Would 100% recommend.

This is the tour to take. It exceeded my expectations- especially the food. The guide Yaseen was excellent and very attentive. I felt like the tour was individualized to our desires vs a structured itinerary.

A fantastic trip with a very knowledgeable guide Mohsin from Desert Fun Tourism. Camel ride, dune bashing, sand boarding, food and entertainment for a full 6 hours!! Great price and worth every penny!

You cannot lose this one when ciming to Dubai. The driving and desert scenery was amazing, finishing with a diinwr at a camp in the desert. Our guide Hussain was a great host and perfect driver on the dunes. I would not recommend the RTV part, ride the camels instead.

Absolutely gorgeous, our guide YASSEN made this day a memorable one, our 8-year-old girl was treated like a princess, and the ATV ride conquered her, the husband felt the adrenaline with the cars through the desert, and I I was impressed by absolutely everything. The dessert is a dream, and the fire show in the camp should not be missed... Thank you YASSEN for everything!!!

We usually do not give reviews but this specific company and tour deserves the mention. Both my husband and I have been on these desert safari tours before with other companies but this one was without a doubt, the BEST! Already reccommended it to family visiting Dubai. Our tour guide, Kashi, was extremely welcoming and attentive. Explained everything with just the right amount of information. Some companies also mention a tour of dubai as part of their package but all of these experiences “passes by” some of the key tourist spots in Dubai and Kashi did this as well as we drove past. The quad biking experience was the ultimate. We had free reign to ride on our own quad bikes within a designated area (very large so you could really increase the speed and have loads of fun!). Next was the dune bashing. Kashi decided to play music in the car which definately changed the overall experience given I’ve been on this before with another company and they didn’t do that. A small addition which made a big impact ito the overall experience of the dune bashing. Sandboarding was a nice ‘filler’ event. No waiting as each car had its own sand board so 1 per 6 people. Although most people don’t really do this activity but it was cool to have it included. Next was a photo op as the sunset. Most of the tour guides/drivers offered to take photo’s for their guests and Kashi did an amazing job for us. Everything was super organised. As soon as we got to the camp site for the dinner, we started with a quick 5min camel ride before entering the camp site. Camels was clean, and overall very organised. Again, another “filler” event which was a really nice experience to say you’ve done it. Last was the actual event/dinner and both my husband and I was extremely fussy when it comes to food. It has to have enough flavour. A lot of these camps are very commercialised and bulk cooking sometimes means no flavour. Also, we have both been on these tours before and the food was not great at all. This however was completely different. Firstly, all the guests sat at tables (no extra charges like some other companies). It was clean, neat and very organised. Food wasn’t 5* but it was really good. Proper variety. We had both grilled meats with salads and there was also Indian meals which was really good. Dessert included Indian/Arabic sweets which was also good. Definately food I would eat again. The actual show was also decent. Belly dancing and some other act were average (seen one, seen them all) but the fire show was really cool and definately worth it. We also stayed at the camp just enough time to not get bored… it was really perfectly organised and everything on time. Toilets were clean as well so good for families with kids. Overall, this is definately an experience worth booking and there are aloooot of companies who offer these same/similar experiences but as very picky tourists, we definately urge others wanting this sort of experience to book with this company. Surprisingly, they are very competitive with prices, roughly the same across most, but also cheaper than others yet the experience is way better. This is definately the company to use for this experience!!! Thank you to our guide, Kashi for making it such an awesome experience!!

Honestly one of the worst experiences, from the nauseating car ride in the dunes to the performances and dinner served at the khayma. Don’t waste your time here, find another one. The tour guide was very helpful but the experience itself was not all that.

I really enjoyed being able to ride the AV and doing the safari tour. Just be mindful that the dinner experience at the dunes is not as sanitary and clean as I would have wished. The show is worth watching. If you are looking for a more elegant trip for what you are paying. It might be worth going with another option.
