It was overcrowded. Food...
Gokhan_T, Apr 2024
It was overcrowded. Food was so bad couldn't even eat. I would choose another company for Safari....
Good activities. Crazy queues.
Angie_N, Apr 2024
The activities were good but the venue is extremely overcrowded - you have to queue up for 30-90min for each and every item here eg camel riding, getting food. Ended up we upgraded ourselves to the VIP area for a buffet with better food and no queue (50AED/ head), otherwise the whole experience would be even more unpleasant. I also opted in for the package without 4WD while others did, and ended up I wasted more than an hour waiting for others to finish. All in all, I think the activities are good and the tour guide is nice, just far too crowded.
Not worth it
Andrejus_M, Mar 2024
Very tasty food. Very poor experience compared to the one I had 2 years ago. Desert safari was just driving a bit extremely on the desert road, not on the dunes and edges of them, but that takes a trained professional for that. Minimum service was very poor, not entertaining at all. Everything costs extra and it was designed ao that you are kinda forced to pay extra to get not just benefits but normal basic service. For example included henna tattoo was a of a size of a match box. There were supposed to be 10 shows for the dinner, we got 3. Because of Ramadan. But there was no information about that. And if you cannot provide the specific service - please replace it or provide the info on the booking. We did not get any sand boarding attraction, but it was on the list. The camel ride was a joke - two camels tight together and went in a circle max 10 meters, it took 3 minutes all together with getting on and off. Photoshoot was at some camp around the bushes, not in the desert on the beautiful red sand during sunset, as it was 2 years ago. Team was doing bare minimum to ensure the comfort, and doing a bit extra once you pay them extra.
Amazing
Paul_C, Mar 2024
This experience was amazing! The driver was excellent. He picked us up from the hotel on time. The ATV ride was amazing. Then we went for a dungie ride in the desert in a SUV. They go really fast to give you the full experience, but they’re professional at what they do, so don’t be too worried. The camel ride was short, but still a great experience, and something to cross off the bucket list. There were three show segments afterwards, which included belly dancing and a couple fire shows. So be prepared to stay another two hours after the camel ride ends. During intermission, there was a buffet with various foods. There wasn’t many options of food, so be prepared to grab a bite afterwards. Overall, it was a great experience, and something to cross off the bucket list.
Good

Abo sanam was our driver. He was good. Drove us to all the places. The events were good and we enjoyed the safari.
Terrible and scam
Rizwan_T, Feb 2024
This place is a scam. No sand boarding was provided. Camel ride was too short for less than a minute. Also, I had to pay additional $25 each person to upgrade my table because the standard table comes up with self serve option of snacks and dinner, which is chaotic when 300 people would run to get their food.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
HI GOOD DAY ARABIAN DESERT ADVENTURES LLC is a legal license holding company based in dubai and all our guests are most respectable for us and we ever tried our levels best to provide them best service. You mentioned there is NO sand boarding and very short camel ride. Here must we have to clear for your information that all our drivers are professionals and main thing they are the guides from pickup till drop off and they lookafter them during whole tour. First of all we clear that we have all different different packages available on the dashboard of the deal and we provide them full service according to the package which is selected by our respectable guests, and you did choose the normal package in which you have to get food fron the buffet and extra payment you paid that is VIP package with table service. Sand board is available and all our guests do enjoy. Camel ride is available for the experience for photos and videos for the memories and its minimum 3 minutes. Overall we you did enjoy deffinately accordingly so with appologise. But We will try to improve our service untill the satisfaction of our respectable guest. Thanks Tariq Rasheed Manager Arabian Desert Adventures LLC DUBAI.
Amazing activity with amazing staff
Nanphida_K, Feb 2024
Our tour guide was amazing. Respectful, patient, and very good communication skills. Thank you Islam!
You get exactly what you pay for - NOT MUCH
Beata_J, Feb 2024
You spend the first 2 hours just driving. Dune bashing lasts 10 minutes instead of the promised 20+, the camel ride is indeed short - just 4 minutes; there are only two sand boards for all the groups so it is near impossible to get the good one (the bad one is so damaged that it is not usable). Upon arrival you get informed that there will be one dinner buffet for 1,000 people so the queues will be really long. However, for 45 AED a person you can get VIP treatment and eat without long queues. Instead of the promised 10 shows, you get rushed out after the third one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXPERIENCE!
Too much waste of time...
Roula_L, Feb 2024
Too much waste of time going around to different places for the activities. If they were all in the same place that would be much better
Do no recommend!! Avoid this tour operator
Prathik_S, Feb 2024
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I highly advise any traveler to avoid this tour operator. The driver's behavior was very rude and rough. The dune bashing lasted 5 min even though we were promised 30-45 min. There was no sandboarding or camel ride provided even though it was part of the package. The food was horrible, shawarma was severely understuffed to the point I was just served pita bread.
Safari tour
Emilie_W, Jan 2024
Overall, a good concept. However, this specific tour was very hurried and very little information was given throughout. Every time we arrived at a new place we were not informed what was going to happen. Later in the evening we didn’t have time to finish our food before we had to go. In addition to this, the ticket says 30 min bike ride (we got 20) and it says 20 min dune bashing (we got maybe five minutes). Could have been a really good tour, but too many things were missing.
Disappointing
Hisham_K, Jan 2024
Driver was late about an hour, the food was ok and we did not see 10 shows as advertised. The drinks ran out quickly as did the snacks so it really wasn't all you can eat. Dinner was served late unless you were VIP
Overall bad experience
Khadija_S, Jan 2024
It’s a mass tourism kinda site. You don’t really enjoy the desert nor nature. The animals look tortured and unhappy. There are masses of people everywhere and the cars move you around like some sort of stock. You can see it’s only for the money. I’d recommend doing desert adventures in other countries like Tunisia where it’s much more authentic. The only thing good about it was our guide who was nice enough.
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Hi According to your feedback, we have to clarify that our all drivers are well trained and professional and they lookafter their guests very well. Everybody has their own mentality, you have mentioned that your driver/guide couldn't speak english ! It is to clear that our drivers can speak and understand English & Arabic because they live in Dubai / UAE, yes we are agreed they cannot speak english like you because you belong to USA, just think you speak english fluently but why you didn't understand the abbreviation Opt !! As it is the abbreviation of optional !! That misunderstanding was by your side because the package which you had selected that was without Quadbike package and i myself explained over the phone on that date of your desert safari tour that you have selected without quadbike option ! But you argued and was still saying your quadbikes are included but it was not. You are very good in engish language but did not understand that which package you have selected even though did not understand the word optional's abbreviation. And when we write /fill the format of viator dashboard before we offer the deal so there are limited words on Viator format where we have to explain by counting words thats why sometimes we use abbreviations and its easy to understand. But you blamed our company that we did not clearly mentioned!! Dear this is legal licence holding company ARABIAN DESERT ADVENTURES all the companies has to provide their commercial license before the deal with esteemed VIATOR and you mentioned it is extreme scam!! Madam it was your mistake that you did select without quadbike package instead of included quadbike package!! Secondly you mentioned that driver arrived 1 hour late, so it is to clear that the location you had shared with the driver it was your mistake you had shared wrong location thats why you had deleted the location (from the driver chat) which you did share with driver (we have record), he follow that location the you sent msg that you are in RIU hotel creek so he picked you up safely and served you more better as he can serve. You did not miss any programme, even he brought your food on your table so then he can make you happy. But overall you was not happy because of quadbikes and it was not our fault because the package you have choosen so obviously driver has to follow/provide that inclusions !! Driver namely Mr.Ibrahim served and provide you full service according to your selected package and dropped you back to your hotel safely.. In the last if you were picked up bit late that was totally misunderstanding regarding pickup location and we really apologize for that. We will try to improve our services more better so then our respectable guests dont face any kind of difficulties like this. We do serve 100s of people everyday madam, but if sometimes it happen unfortunately so can be ignored as a good customer relationship!! Thanks and Regard Tariq Rasheed Manager ARABIAN DESERT ADVENTURES LLC DUBAI
Extreme Scam
Niyaz_P, Jan 2024
Strongly advise against this safari. It's a scam. They don't deliver what they promise. The driver picked us up an hour late, failed to communicate due to a lack of English proficiency, and was neither nice nor polite. He continuously rushed us, causing my sister to bump her head to the car . The henna application is not free except for a small, unattractive flower; otherwise, additional 50-150 fees apply. There's insufficient time for pictures, the driver did not stop for pictures in the desert! no sunset due to the delayed arrival, drivers have limited English proficiency, the food is inedible, you only have 20 min to grab a food and have to stay in a long line unless you pay extra 60 per person to go to VIP to skip the line. The camel ride was not smooth for some people , the camel dropped two girls. Also, the ATV is not included in the package, and they don't inform you that "opt" means optional. Prepare to be charged an additional 150-250 per person for the ATV. The claim of unlimited water is false; only one bottle per person is provided. The shows was the only thing that was worth it, however you can find belly dancing anywhere in Dubai. Save your money and time – not worth it.
Unforgettable adventure

It as amazing. And driver was super carying and friendly. We really enjoyed the whole experience, the show and food was super nice.
Awesome!
jopopham, Jan 2024
Absolutely fantastic day! Our tour guide was brilliant and the kids had sooo much fun. We upgraded to the vip package at the tent which meant we had food sooner and didn’t have to queue. The only negative was being taken as a stop off toilet break en route and the shop where we thought we were trying on traditional dress was more of a ‘bring your tourists here and we can sell them the outfit’. All in all an amazing experience
Over promised and Under delivered
Ritesh_K, Jan 2024
This tour is a disorganized mess. If people think it is a small group tour you are sadly mistaken. The group consists of about 5000 people at the camp. So imagine the chaos and long lines to get food, camel rides, henna paintings, etc. Our tour guide Adnan was not friendly, could not communicate well in English and was rude at times. The quad bike was good but family members cannot share and only 2 people are allowed per bike. Not at all clear during the time of booking. Food was sub-par and long lines made it a bad experience. We could not do any of the activities due to the lines and dune bashing was about 7-8 mins in a car. I would not recommend this tour at all. Waste of a day.
Stay away from this tour group!! Such a scam!
Akash_D, Dec 2023
Stay away from this tour group!! We booked this because of the Viator/Trip Advisor badge of approval (I think this company pays to get negative reviews removed), and it was such a scam. We had heard great things about the Desert Safari experience from many people, and I'm sure it's great if you go with the right group. Our guide picked us up from the hotel about 30 min after the scheduled time, and then drove super aggressively in order to make up the time. My family was in the car, and another family with a baby, yet, this driver was doing 40-50 km over the speed limit. He was cursing at other 4x4 drivers from other groups heading to the ATV and camp ground. They claim this is an Emerati experience, yet the entire thing is run by Pakistanis (which I have nothing against) - from the grocery store that you stop by to use the bathroom, to the ATV to the camp site - the whole thing is one big operation. The first stop is a grocery store, I purchased 3 soft drinks and a bag of chips and they charged me 105 Dhirams, which I thought was crazy, but the driver was like no, these are fair prices. There aren't prices written on anything so you can't tell how much things are. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and it's just a tourist trap. The second stop is the ATV park. There were hundreds of SUVs trying to get into the one we stopped at. They have aggressive people trying to sell you things, and make you take pictures with falcons. The ATVs weren't included in our tour, but my kids wanted to do it, so we did. Again, no prices anywhere, the driver said 250 AED and he went to get the tickets. I paid after the ATV ride (which was fun), but as soon as I gave my credit card, my tour driver started speaking to the guys in Urdu and he told me to go back to the car - obviously he was collecting his commission. After that, you take a 15 min drive to the dune bashing. Again, super crowded and nearly impossible for cars to get in and out. Took a long time for us to get to where the dune bashing started, so our driver let us off and then went to find parking. We were just standing there for a while till he got back. No organization at the Dune bashing either. Our driver went to the front and started talking to the organizers and just grabbed a 4x4 for us, pushing another group out of the way. They claim its a 20+ min experience, it took us 5 min to get to the camp, and that was the end of it. When the drop you to the camp, the driver/guide isn't with you, so you are clueless as to what to do, as they are walking from the parking lot. We took some pictures of the dunes and the sunset. We were supposed to have sand boarding, but no clue what happened to that. We were supposed to get a camel ride, but there was a line of over 200 people waiting for a couple camels, and we would have missed the show. Once you get to the camp, it's such a mess. One thing I would recommend is doing the VIP package if you end up going with this tour group, because you have a separate section and actually get to eat properly. The camp site has a bunch of stalls selling things. They opened the "snacks" when you first get in, which is some cold Indian pakoras served with a guy with no gloves. There's a huge line for this also. The bathrooms in the camp were worse than the grocery store ones and smelled horrible. The food doesn't open till after the second show. The first was a belly dancer and the second was another dance. Then dinner opens, but all the guides tell their clients this, so the buffet line is super long. They split up men and women for this. They claim it's a BBQ buffet, but after you get the food from the first buffet, you wait in another line for the meat. Everything is super unhygienic, there was almost a fist fight at the buffet when we were waiting between one of the guest and one of the workers. Everyone working there is super rude. The food was basically inedible, except for the 2 pieces of meat that they give you (served with their hands) which was pretty good. Stay away from this company! I'm shocked that Trip Advisor/ Viator gave them a stamp of approval, because obviously nobody from the company has ever gone on this tour.
Driver who service us was...

Driver who service us was excellent. Eventhou the last seat was uncomfortable …. He tried to accommodate us well by finding a better car for us to make sure that we have smooth travel way back on our hotel.
