    The weather was perfect so could enjoy the trip very much. Two dots for even a better tour. - Should re-think about the lunch time, since a lot of souvenir shops were closed from 13:00-16:00 and could not do shopping at El Chalten. - Picking up at so many hotels were a bit frustrating, took about an hour to pick up all the tour guests. Should narrow down the picking up area.

    It was a great hiking trip! The first hiking was not too hard, beautiful scenery from the top. Also second hiking to the beautiful waterfall was very flat and easy. Our tour guide Alexia was so nice and made our trip really special!
    Worth the Walk Up

    I was a little hesitant at first booking this trip because of the negative reviews about the length of time in vehicle. The ride was not bad at all. When you're exploring a remote area, you have to take into account travel time. The hike up to see the condors soaring was a challenge, and I was the last one 🕐 n our group up. Just wish I had more time to take lots of pictures and soak up the grandness of it all. Our guide was ready to go back down after we just got there. The van we had was filled to capacity and not every seat had equal comfort ie. The seats over the wheel . After waterfall trek and viewing, we were let go in town for lunch, then back home. A full day, but worth it.

    I want to start off by saying the tour guide was really sweet and did a lot to make this trip fun. However, this just seemed like a huge waste of money because we did 2 very small hikes that you could do on your own. If you have even 5 minutes, just find a bus to El Chaltén and look up the 2 most famous hikes and you’ll save yourself a lot of time. This came with lunch which allowed you to choose between 3 options which were all mediocre. We had 2.5 hours to eat and walk around town but all the stores were closed for siestas so there was literally nothing to do. The bus ride was crammed and took so long, with every other car on the road passing us (even busses twice the size)

    Alexia was knowledgeable, bilingual and participated in the tour, e.g., hiking, as well as ensuring every one on the tour was accounted for and accommodated. Sebastian (driver) was efficient, safe and friendly, which on a long tour is good to know and not be concerned.

    For a day trip to El Chalten I think that most goals were accomplished. I think that the stop at La Leona should have been shorter. I would have liked to be able to take a photo of the mountains well before the viewpoint t outside El Chalten ( somewhat like the photograph advertising the excision). I also think that one should have been given the option for a hike to Laguna Capri instead of going to the waterfall and having lunch in town although time could have been an issue. Possibly those interested in that hike could be dropped off first on arrival to El Chalten and then they could do the Condor mirador by themselves if they have time after the hike to the lagoon.

    We booked with a trekking, but there was no possibility to hike by yourself, only to little walks, but not the promised walk to Laguna Capri!
    Wasted an entire day in Patagonia

    Unfortunately this was the biggest let down on our trip to Patagonia. Based on the description, we were under the impression we would have 5 free hours to do as we please in El Chalten (in our case, to hike). It wasn’t until we were 1.5 hours in to the drive that we were told this wasn’t the case and we were stuck in a structured day with the group (which consisted of just a short 1.9mi easy hike and lunch). Had the tour company let us know in advance, we would’ve canceled and driven to El Chalten ourselves as the ONLY reason we were willing to make the long trip was to hike. We had to sit on a bus for 6 hours total just to take a simple walk and eat lunch. It was such a waste of an entire day when we didn’t have any time to spare on our trip. To make matters worse, I reached out to the tour provider via WhatsApp and all they told me was they stopped offering the long hike option (even though the description still shows it). No apology or offer to remedy the situation and then they simply stopped writing me back. Very big waste of time and money, I would not recommend this to anyone. Head to El Chalten on your own terms and enjoy the many things it has to offer that are not provided with this trip.

    Tracking was short and not very much exciting. Trip took us a small water falls which was just to kill time. In my opinion they could arrange a more spectacular hiking trail.

    We were looking for a way to travel to El Chalten with limited time in El Calafate. This is the perfect overview of this part of Patagonia for those on a tight schedule. The two hikes were pretty basic, but the views are absolutely worth the drive!

    It was a nice tour, introduction to Patagonia. We were lucky with the good weather and clear skies. We saw all the famius mountains in all their beauty. Time well spent. This company was very accomodating and picked me up later than scheduled due to my flight slight delay. I would suggest to irder your own lunch though.

    The bus was comfortable with some great views. Our guide was great. I am not a physically fit person so I chose the waterfall and mirador walk. The mirador Walk was not unchallenging. About 30 mins incline but my group moved at an ok pace and I felt comfortable to take breaks. The view was nice but I probably wouldn’t do the tour again. Good to do if you have nothing else planned some day but not a Must-see, in my opinion.

    Take the long walk to Lagune!

    Tour guide English not the best so missed out on some info and ended up in confusions. But what’s great is that you do get an option to do a short walk or a long 4 hour walk to the Lagune and see Fitz Roy close up. It’s a relatively easy to moderate walk if you are reasonably fit so I highly recommend you take that option - well worth the beautiful views on the way!
