My husband and I enjoyed this experience so much, it was easily the highlight of our stay in Florence! If you like to meet new people and harbor great conversations while learning to make pasta and eat amazing food, this is for you! Camilla and her family were so welcoming, we felt right at home in their wonderful apartment. The food we made was delicious! Do not miss out on this secret gem!! Bravo et à bientôt j’espère 😍.

High point of our trip

The whole experience was amazing. We loved leaning how to prepare pasta and some sauces. We enjoyed the time we spent with the family, talking to them about their experiences and telling them ours. I was the high point of our trip to Florence.

We had such a wonderful time cooking and getting to know the family! We loved everything from shopping at the outdoor market, stopping to do cheese and wine tasting, and really getting to know Camilla and Samuel and learn about their life in Florence. Not to mention the food and wine were absolutely delicious!!!!! An A+ and a highlight of our trip to Florence

The most memorable part of this experience was sitting down with the family and having dinner together! Sharing stories, laughing and having great conversation. The whole experience was so beautiful to me. It felt like I knew them for years! I am so thankful I made new friends!

We couldn’t have imagined a better “cooking” lesson/dining experience! From the moment we walked into their beautiful, warm and inviting home we didn’t feel like guests we felt like long time friends. Such genuine hospitality and generosity. Both Samuel and Camila were so patient in teaching us how to make ravioli and homemade pasta. They were so generous in teaching us how to taste delicious olive oil and trying wines, bread and vegetables- so fresh and delicious! We will remember this always!

Spectacular 6 star experience

If I could rate this experience a 6 stars I would!! Had no idea that we would actually be physically walking into a locals home and making all kinds of homemade stuff, including ravioli and several types of pasta right from their kitchen. They let us try three different methods on making the pasta noodles (one that dated back to hundreds of years ago). Great conversation, great wine, and even had the opportunity to meet both of their kids. An extremely generous and very caring and friendly family. This experience was completely private. We ate at their table all together but if it wasn’t cold outside, we would’ve eaten in there spectacular garden and been able to pick fruits and vegetables right from their garden. They shared and showed us their secrets to great pasta and sauces and had us try and taste her grandfathers olive oil. Wish we could have bought some to take home. So much better of an experience than with a large group in a factory like setting!! Highly recommend!

Great experience for anyone - couples or close friends to participate in this unique, family-styled experience. Samuel and Camilla did a wonderful job explaining their story, demonstrated how to make the pasta, and made it a lovely/enjoyable time for my girlfriend and I. Both of us recommend this to everyone. The host family was extremely welcoming and warm. The ambiance of the home and courtyard was very authentic and appealing. The pasta making experience was very interactive and fun. This experience was one of our favorite things about Florence. We shared an evening together learning their culture & the food they prepare. Camilla, Sam & Leo were the sweetest Family!! They have a lovely home & beautiful outdoor area. We picked vegetables right out of their garden for our dinner. Highly recommend them!!

This cooking class was hands down our favorite experience in all of Italy. Camilla and her husband Samuel, were such generous and hospitable people.
