My gf and loved the...

My gf and loved the casual experience. We wanted to explore this part of the city as we are moving down here in the next few months. This hunt was short and sweet and even though we didnt finish we still had a great time. Our virtual host was great and cheered us on the whole time.

Scavenger hunt

This tour was frustrating. We asked questions prior to for information about the tour and got vague or no response. The address on the tour was not the start point, We had trouble with the internet as it is sketchy so the communication was difficult but once we got some clear instructions we were able to manage the hunt. If you have a bad sense of direction we would not recommend this tour. The local people were very friendly and accepted our odd requests. It was a very hot day and 2 hours went quickly by. Thanks Kat for encouraging us along. We ended our day with a celebratory drink at El Caminos

A bit lack luster for frenzy

This hunt lacked direction and we weren't sure which way to go or start which was frustrating. We managed to get through many of the tasks and enjoyed our time just the same.

I reviewed your hunt and did not see that you asked questions or shared that you had any confusion. Our hosts are great about additional direction if they know you have a question. Our guests generally understand the directions and ground rules of the game quite easily and enjoy relying on their hosts if they have questions. The interactive experience is part of what makes the adventure so enjoyable and unique, and we are very sorry you didn’t attempt more than just a small handful of challenges or ask questions when stumped so that you could have gotten much more out of the game as our guests typically do.

Not what I expected at all

I think the title of this experience should have the word “virtual” in it. After getting the text message day of, it became clear that this is not an experience where the host is present. My partner and I arrived to the first checkpoint and no one was there. We later found out we were the only team to sign up for the slot. All in all, this experience wasn’t what I expected and I think the description needs to be extremely clear on the virtual remote host aspect. Also, that you may be the only team present. I would have loved the opportunity to pick another day where others have signed up or have the choice to be the only team. Do you want rivals or do you want a private experience? Also, texting the instructions was really difficult to follow. An email a.k.a something to print out would have been better.

We are sorry that you did not get to participate in the experience and that it did not appear to be what you were expecting. You might have been able to unlock more fun during the event. Each group gets their own dedicated live adventure coach, who encourages and and helps them throughout their journey. Our staff is super animated, personable, and fun! The adventure coach is remote, and the word remote appears in the first sentence of the description of the activity. If you would like to have an in person host, you can fill out a custom form on our website Alleykatadventures and we will design you a custom event at a special rate. While we of course cannot 100% provide competitors for you on any given day, I encourage you to ask us next time in advance to tell you which dates we show that have others signed up already. That way you can make a decision based on what your I individual preferences are. However, you can always race our leaderboards, which are sent to you in our introductory message. Most of our guests tell us that that is just as exciting as racing other groups. Please contact us for a complementary opportunity to try the hunt out to experience what it’s like in any of our cities. We are happy to provide the material for you in advance on request. Keep in mind that the element of surprise only adds to the fun and spontaneity, though. We hope you decide to try one of our hunts soon, as I’m sure that having experienced it will influence your opinion!

Fun, Thoughtful & Unique

We started the scavenger hunt in Fort Lauderdale with the intent of doing things the amazing race style (which can be done). However after our first two stops we were completely blown away by the hidden away gems and well thought out challenges. We decided the best way for us to enjoy the experience was to take our time and enjoy the surrounding area this scavenger hunt had provided for us. There was no shortage of unique things to see and I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this curation of activities. Highly recommended whether you’re going the quick and competitive route or taking your time as we did.
