What To Expect

Begin your tour at Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk with a brief training session and get comfortable using your Segway. With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.

5-Mile Segway tour (also available at night):

Cruise a loop from the Riverwalk and the historic downtown district. Check out the restaurants, bars, and shops, plus attractions like the Broward Center for Performing Arts, a large multi-venue theater and entertainment complex and the Museum of Discovery and Science, one of the largest museums of its kind in Florida. Check out the downtown skyscrapers and learn a bit about the city’s history and development. Finally, pass through Old Fort Lauderdale and the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society Museum.

10-Mile Segway tour:

Take everything from the shorter tour and continue on to the 17th Street Causeway drawbridge. From there, take in the view of Port Everglades, the second-ranked cruise port in the world. Continue on to more sightseeing before a return trip to the Riverwalk.

Please note: there is a maximum of eight passengers per tour guide; total tour duration is inclusive of a brief lesson to help get you acquainted with the Segway.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Fantastic Segway Experience

Mike was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. Two people in our group were first time Segway riders. Mike took the time with great instructions and guidance until they were comfortable. In all of our experiences we have never had an instructor as good as Mike. Unfortunately our tour was cut short due to weather. We made it safely back before the storm. Mike’s tour was definitely the way to see Fort Lauderdale.

Mike was a great guide "even though he doesn't own the company" He was a wealth of knowledge on history and politics of the area. I would definitely suggest bottles of water for the guests on the 2 hr tour would be nice and less "history" and more riding 👍 also need a bigger sign and some seating at the "building" where we wait and meet. We were all very nervous never done Segway b4 but we all took to it quickly after about 5min and had a BLAST. FYI No bathroom on site either

Shantel was wonderful! She was so patient and fun. We have been on a Segway tour before in another city and I can say Shantel was the difference maker! We did the 4 mile tour and it was the perfect amount of time to see the city and the price was just right. Being in our late 50s we were a little apprehensive about doing this but always wanted to cross this off our bucket list. If you are worried DO NOT be, Mike was 💯 a perfect guide with patience, compassion, understanding and professional. He speaks loud and clear so that you don’t miss his tour explanations but honestly we didn't even care about the tour factor, we just wanted to keep riding and hated when it ended. He takes pride in his job and cares for his customers so it did not surprise me to read all the great reviews. This company is truly lucky to have him. The only issue we had was finding the location, it’s litterly behind the building in a sort of loading dock, so when the GPS takes you to address, walk or drive around to the back of the building and look for their sign hung a railing, wait there for them to come out because all the doors were locked. There is a small parking lot in the back where you can park and where we practiced. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you Mike

Mike our guide was great. He made sure everyone felt comfortable on the segways and they are easy to use. He took a couple “foot breaks” to rest our feet and legs which is very much needed on a longer Segway tour. He stopped often to talk about the sites. It was a beautiful route through old Fort Lauderdale, the canal and some residential areas. It was a fairly easy to navigate route on smooth surfaces and low traffic. It was enjoyable and low anxiety riding the machines. As an added bonus Mike took video and group pictures of us while riding and at stops and sent them to us at the end of the tour. It was a great afternoon!
