What To Expect

To start your day, arrive at the waterfront store, Las Olas Paddle Boards. Here, receive all the necessary equipment for your journey and listen to the instructions to get prepared. No prior boating experience is required for this expedition.

Then, board your mini powerboat and get out on the water of Fort Lauderdale. Navigate the waterways, a task made easy by your vessel, and relax as you take in the scenery of luxurious yachts, mansions, and mangrove forests.

As you have the boat to yourself, enjoy the freedom to set your own pace and itinerary, exploring at your leisure.

After your time on the water, return your boat to the dock.

Must be 18+ to drive the boat. Passengers may be any age.
Drivers born after 1987 will need a temporary boaters license. Please check voucher or confirmation email for the website to obtain license. This takes about 20 minutes to complete and MUST be obtained before arrival.
Maximum weight limit per boat is 325 lbs. and fits up to 2 people.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

They owners were very nice and welcoming. The boat is easy to operate and the views are beautiful! It is a nice and very affordable experience to see the water from an up close and personal view. Would definitely recommend. You also don’t have to worry about getting soaked.

Awesome experience! We had lots of fun being our own boat captains! I had a boat 35 years ago, and my knowledge of how to drive came back like riding bike. The staff and equipment were excellent! Lots of trust on their part to hope we’d find our way back, but the map they gave us with the tips were spot on! Just a fun day

It is neat to travel the waterway by these little boats. Ours would not stay running which was frustrating. No discount or credit given. It is pricey for what you get. I would recommend taking a water taxi with narration to see these amazing homes. We also got drenched by boats with larger wakes.

Hi Julie - I am sorry to hear you had an issue with the boat. I have not had anyone else report any issues. We had temperature's in the 50's on Sunday and your group were the first 2 boats to go out Sunday morning. That may have contributed to the issue you experienced. I have spoken with the crew to make sure we adjust/extend our morning warm up period on "COLD" Florida mornings. I will reach out to you to see if we can get you into a bigger 4 or 6 person boat next time.
