    Outstanding history/architecture/art overview of downtown Guadalajara

    Fernando did an excellent job. His understanding of history and his interpretation of the murals was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. It covered key locations, and was not strenuous. Highly recommend.

    Fernando, our friendly and engaging guide was the BEST! We met right on time at the assigned location and for the next 3.5 hours, Fernando did an amazing job of explaining the sights, murals, statues, buildings and history of Guadalajara's historic center. The pace was just right, and he made sure everyone was comfortable along the way. You can tell that Fernando is passionate about the history of Guadalajara and murals of Jose Clemente Orozco. We were a group of English speakers, and Fernando's English was excellent so there was no language barrier at all. And to finish off what was already a great tour, our final destination was the Mercado Libertad where we had the most amazing, authentic (and affordable!) birria and tacos. Since we were at the Mercado, once the tour concluded it was easy to do some souvenir shopping before heading back to our hotel. We highly recommend this tour, and specifically Fernando as a tour guide!

    I would recommend it to every person who plans to visit Guadalajara. Our tour guide, Fernando, could be the best guide I have ever seen. As a person who got his degree in sociology, he is very knowledgeable. And he explains all the knowledge behind the scenes in details with patience, which enables us to know more about Mexican history and culture. It is a great experience to talk with Fernando. I hope everything in your life will go well in the future Fernando!

    Viator came through again. Fernandez was probably the best tour operator I have EVER experienced over the years. His knowledge was deep and he imparted his knowledge of Guadalajaran and Mexican history past and current so well that I was completely engaged and I loved every second of our adventure . Likewise, I was extremely interested in the muralists like Orozco. Again he opened new worlds of the beauty and the details of the awesome murals. Our designated 3 hours turned into 5 hours! Fernandez made everything come to life! He’s the best.

    Fernando was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and could answer just any question. I was blown away by the history of Guadalajara and loved the art. Also, the food at the end of the tour was amazing and left us in a great spot for shopping. Would definitely recommend doing this tour while in Guadalajara.

    Seeing and learning about the Orozco murals was truly interesting, as was the rest of the tour. David was our guide and he was a great companion, even helping us buy mangoes and avocados at the market at the end of the tour

    Fernando is a highly knowledgeable guide. You couldn't truly appreciate everything in the Historic Centre of GDL without having somebody like him guide you through it. I would definitely recommend taking a few hours to do this tour.

    The murals are unbelievable! Fernando gave us an in depth discussion with all the mysteries and history they hold. My highlight was having lunch with our guide Fernando in the mercado. Since we were a small group we were able to enjoy all the excitement of the Mercado.

    The tour with Fernando was very comprehensive and enjoyable. Fernando is a wealth of information and clearly passionate about the history of Guadalajara and Mexico. His background in sociology lent itself well to questions from clients. He also encouraged active participation from his clients.     There are not enough stars in this review to express the level of expertise, knowledge, enthusiasm, professionalism, diplomacy, patience, and all around wonderful personality of this young man named Fernando. I am sorry I do not know his last name. This tour was so far beyond my expectations. I live in Ajijic Jalisco and had a friend visiting for the holidays. She was blown away. A 5 hour tour that kept us fascinated every minute. I know a bit of Mexican History, but every question I had, he knew the answer, and delivered it with such humble authority. I have never done a Viator outing before, but if all of your employees are like him …. Wow what a company ! Thanks a ton for a wonderful memory for me and especially for my friend who thinks France is the only country worth visiting. She is rethinking that 😉
