In order to ensure that you have everything you need, we will arrange for pick up within Guadalajara City. This includes locations such as Downtown, Americana, Chapultepec, Chapalita, and Andares. For those staying in Tlaquepaque, we will confirm the pickup location due to potential traffic and timing constraints. What To Expect

Your tequila-themed day trip begins with pickup at your hotel in Guadalajara and transfer via air-conditioned van to a hearty Mexican breakfast to avoid kicking off the day with an empty stomach.

Afterwards, continue on by van to visit a master tequila producer, tour the distillery, and sample eight artisan tequilas in the VIP cellar before relaxing at a scenic tequila bar overlooking the agave fields. Sip palomas and cantaritos cocktails and enjoy a spread of snacks while you snap photos of the views and relax.

Cap off your day with some free time in the town of Tequila to browse the local artisan shops, stop for a bite, and explore on your own before the return transfer and drop-off at your hotel.

Fun, informative, and…good tequila!

Andrea was a great guide, easy to talk to and knowledgeable, and it was really enjoyable to hear her explain the details of tequila production and stop in several locations for tastings and some food along the way. I didn’t want to just go to the José Cuervo distillery on a tour, and this was a great opportunity to do something different. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the region.

Andie was awesome and the tour was fantastic. Highly recommend. We went to two distilleries, had a great lunch, walked around downtown, and stopped at some cool spots. Andie was flexible to accommodate our schedule and desires.

Pedro knows his stuff! Great guide. Breakfast was a good idea before tasting all that tequila! The tours of a smaller distillery and a larger one were a perfect match! Understanding how tequila is made and seeing it in real time, makes all the difference! Big tequila fan now!!

Andrea was simply THE BEST! She always seemed to know when to explain the right process, predict your question and share basic and interesting facts very broadly. She is a great listener and uses what she hears to pivot if needed and change course for your options you are interested in. You can tell everyone knows her in town and she is well liked!

The tour was really amazing. I wasn’t a big tequila fan before the tour with Andrea, but she taught me so much about the distillery process and varieties of tequila that I now have a new appreciation. We visited Cava de Oro where we toured their distillery and tasted 6 different tequilas. Amazing experience for anyone who wants to learn about tequila or looking to broaden their knowledge. After the tour we drove to the adorable town of Tequila. Cobblestone roads, lots of shops, nice spaniah architecture, and several more distilleries. We ended the day with a fabulous lunch there. Andrea was a great host, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable of tequila. I highly recommend Andrea and this tour. The tour operator was easily accessible prior to the tour day and very responsive to my questions.

We had a fantastic time. There was a total of 7 ppl and we all had such a blast and got to meet new people. Andie and Pedro did a marvelous job and made the tour a lifetime memory.

Educational and fun, but overpriced

Enjoyable and very educational at the distillery. Guide was very knowledgeable, and driver was very friendly and helpful. Our group of 7 had a really nice experience. But overall the pace felt a bit slow- we didn’t get to Tequila town until sunset, and didn’t return to our hotel until 8:30p. For value, it felt overpriced- while the breakfast and distillery tasting were included, we had to pay separately for drinks at the gazebo and for dinner in Tequila town. At this over $130 US per person, those should have been included.

We believe that our tour is reasonably priced for the following reasons: - Our tour guide is one of the ninety Tequila Masters in the world, and we pay accordingly for it. - We provide transportation to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. - During the tour, we offer 7 to 8 premium tequila and pairing tastings. - We cover the entrance fee for a premium tequila distillery, which is a significant cost. - We provide breakfast at a local venue, along with drinks and plenty of food. - You get your own private tour instead of being part of a large group. Additionally, please note that there is a commission of 27% charged by Trip Advisor, which significantly impacts our profit margin, plus taxes. If we were to include meals and drinks, there wouldn't be much left. We hope that with these reasons, you can understand the value of our tour. Thank you!

Great experience! I highly recommend! Andy was great and very knowledgeable. The shuttle was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. We stop for a nice brunch and had a couple of drinks. This was also included with the tour. Again I highly recommend!

Interesting tequila tour and tasting but little else

My husband and I took this tour with Pedro as our guide. He was on time picking us up and after picking up 3 more we stopped at the local breakfast restaurant which was very good. Pedro picked up the tab. Then on to Cava de Oro. He told us about the production of the tequila from plant to bottle. Then a tasting of 7 different types of tequila and a mezcal. Then the tour got confusing. Pedro said we were going to have another tasting somewhere else but they weren't ready for us so he was going to do that last. Instead he took us to an agave field which was just a touristy waste of time. Then on to Tequila for lunch. He offered a choice of 2 restaurants, we all agreed on the local Mexican restaurant but never told us they took cash only. Not a problem for us as we live in Mexico but the other couple had not changed money, only had American dollars. We paid for them in exchange for their dollars but it would have been better to let us know in advance. Pablo gave us 40 minutes to walk around town before heading to the next tasting. Actually, it turned out to be a restaurant/bar. We were under the impression this was part of the tasting but Pedro was no where to be found, we each had one tequila and we picked up the tab, not Pedro. Besides his erratic driving, he never offered water or snacks as indicated. While we enjoyed the tasting and him sharing his knowledge of the tequila process, I wouldn't take the tour again.

Regarding the confusion you had about the tour, I would like to point out that there is no second tasting mentioned in your itinerary, so it could be a misunderstanding with Pedro. We take you to a local venue with an impressive view of Tequila Valley, but as stated on the itinerary, drinks are not included. I agree that it's always good to carry cash in local currency when traveling to avoid any payment issues in local restaurants. However, I don't think it's fair to blame the tour guide for this. Pedro tried his best to make your tour enjoyable. Visiting agave fields is a crucial part of the tequila tours as it provides a complete experience. People also love to take pictures and videos of this unique landscape, and we're sorry that you didn't enjoy it. I will personally review Pedro's driving and why he didn't offer you water and snacks. Maybe he offered them at breakfast. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback!

The trip was great, as were our guides. Had enough free time after our tour to enjoy the town of Tequila and have a relaxing dinner. Would change the breakfast place, service was way to slow.

We chose that restaurant for breakfast because it is the best place in the area and our clients love it. However, on the day of your visit, there were many people, and the staff made a mistake with the names, which caused a delay. Additionally, the tortillas, sauce, and juice are all handmade, which can also contribute to longer wait times. It was one of the best experiences in my life! The professionalism amd passion of Jess made this tour even better. From the first second till the last one everything was amazing! She taught us a lot of things not only about tequila but she was (during this 8 hours )more than happy to answer all of our questions about Mexico!!
