We offer pickups at selected hotel in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, you just have to contact us to arrange the time and place depend on your hotel, or you can come to our meeting point located in Calle 12 de diciembre 3070, Jard. de plaza del sol, you must be there prior 9:45 a.m.

What To Expect

Learn all about tequila on this full-day guided tour from Guadalajara, which includes a visit to the fields, a distillery, and the town of Tequila.

Your day starts with pickup from your central Guadalajara hotel by air-conditioned minivan. Your first stop will be the agave fields of Mundo Cuervo. Tour the fields with an experienced *jimador* to provide more background on the agave plant. Afterwards, tour Jose Cuervo’s La Rojena Distillery, the oldest in Latin America, to learn about how tequila is produced and sample a few different tequilas, including blanco, reposado, and anejo.

Enjoy a guided tour of the town of Tequila, with time for lunch (own expense) and free time to explore or shop before returning to Guadalajara.

The trip to Tequila was ok. They can pick up and drop off at your hotel, which was great. Food and the Jose Cuervo distillery were the highlights for sure. The downside was that they canceled touring the other distillery but didn’t have an alternative other than to walk around the town for like 2.5 hours in 92oF conditions. The tour guide didn’t do much but give information at the algave fields, the cathedral, and buffet. I would recommend another tour that will be more informative, engaging, and ensure you see more distilleries.

This was a good trip, however a little more time exploring the pueblo of Tequila would have made it much better. There are many other things to see and do in the city with the various vendors and places to eat and take in the sites of this historic Mexican pueblo. I think overall an excellent adventure and a very nice tour of the Jose Cuervo distillery and a great way to learn all about Tequila.

A very wonderful and fun day in Guadalajara

Ramon was a great guide and had a wonderful time out in the Tequila country with him. Very nice and small group and did not at all feel rushed in any of the places we visited. The tour was largely done in Spanish but Ramon was very accomdating to help translate or clarify what I did not understand, do to my limited Spanish skills. The only thing I was maybe slightly disappointed was, that we did not get to see any Jimadors at work when we were at the Agave plantation.

I booked the trip very late, 11pm on Friday for Saturday's tour, and I worried about if they will receive the order and confirm to me timely, but luckily they contacted and confirmed back to me at 8am of Sat. It was a great your overall. The pace was excellent, we never felt rushed or hurried. We got to enjoy 2 distilleries and the tequila was good. The town of Tequila is small but food is great. The tour guide and driver were fun and gave plenty of information. It was a bonus to be picked up at our hotel and dropped off again there after the tour.

This tour was an unbelievable experience. As tourists safety is a huge concern. Everything from booking to meeting at the meeting point went smooth. They can pick you up from your hotel or you can meet them at their headquarters address. They will offer you breakfast snacks water. The first hour is spent picking up tourist from their hotels then we make our way to tequila. Ron the tour guide is very kind and interactive. He is very knowledgeable and males the best experience. Always wanted visit Tequila. Crossed it off the bucket list finally. Guadalajara traffic was horrendous. Tour was supposed to be in English (per website), however everyone else were Spanish speakers. Guide tried to keep me included, but it pretty much was a Spanish trip and I felt I missed out on the inside jokes and extra info. My high school Spanish is ok, but not good enough to keep up. We had 2 hours to roam around Tequila, but that seemed excessive. 30 mins would have been more than plenty for me. There’s not that much to see outside of the Cuervo factory.
