We did this experience on our first night, it is such a great way to throw yourself into the culture and to experience authentic Vietnamese food. Our tour guide Jenny was amazing and so knowledgeable. She gave us so many recommendations and tips on what to look out for being a tourist in Hanoi. Although all of the food was superb, my highlights were the summer rolls (got to make ourselves) & egg coffee!
Highly recommend adding this experience to your trip! And thank you Jenny for being so wonderful.

This was a fantastic tour, with a wide variety of foods and tastings on offer, including all the famous dishes like pho, banh mi, bbq skewers, summer rolls and desserts.
Minh was a brilliant host, and his energy and jokes made the experience even better. He not only took us to some really hidden gems (sometimes quite literally through darkened alleyways!) but also gave great insight to Hanoi culture and tips on how to navigate the city (and avoid scams). To top it all off Minh emailed us all the details of everything we tried, plus additional recommendations and even an itinerary for exploring Old Quarter.
This was the perfect start to our trip to Hanoi and oriented us really well to the city's hustle, bustle - and most importantly - food!

Minh showed us around Hanoi and introduced us to some of his favorite foods. There's no way we could have found these places on our own. He also mixed a lot of humor into the tour, which my group really appreciated. We learned a lot about what we can look for while we're in town.

Jenny was an amazing guide, we had the best time sampling the yummiest local dishes, learning about local life in the old quarter, and picked up some basic vietnamese.l phrases too. Egg coffee and home made coconut ice cream was to die for. I would 110% recommend this tour to anyone. Xin Cảm ơn to Jenny from the block for this awesome tour.

Met Jamie at his office to start the tour with 4 other people, food was chicken noodle, spring rolls,cucumber salad, then across the road to hand rolled rice paper rolls with chicken and green salad(summer rolls) 3 more venues and you will be very full
