Amazing day!
Ha Long Bay is so beautiful. Kayaking was really fun and the caves were amazing to see. The food on board was great and Sunny was an amazing guide, we really enjoyed the trip :)

Loved it!
Had quite a few cheaper options but chose this based on package and we were not disappointed! Absolutely loved it. The timing was just right for a day trip, loved the speed boat and bamboo boat experience! Both were out of my comfort zone but enjoyed it. Halong Bay is beautiful! Would definitely do the overnight trip if we had more time. The food was good and our tour guide "Tommy" (his american name) was truly awesome.

Memorable trip
All the activities mentioned were good. Cruise was clean and guide was helpful as well. Only issue was with the food. It was almost inedible and tasteless. Most of the table did not finish their plates. If food is improved it would certainly deserve 5 stars
People Also Ask
Q:How much is a tour to Ha Long Bay?
A:Ha Long Bay tour prices vary hugely. A full-day trip on a basic wooden junk starting from Cat Ba Island could cost as little as $30; a 5-day extravaganza from Hanoi on a luxury ship with a pool, gym, spa, and gourmet cuisine could cost 40 times that sum.
Q:What is the best month to visit Ha Long Bay?
A:October is generally the best month to visit Ha Long Bay, although climate change means weather patterns are less predictable than they were. The summer monsoon rains and humidity have passed, but the sea is still warm. Expect mellow temperatures, refreshing breezes, plenty of sunshine, and only light rainfall.
Q:Should I book a Ha Long Bay cruise in advance?
A:Not always. If you're after a specific ship, a luxury cruise, or an unusually long boat tour, you should book your Ha Long Bay ticket well in advance. Advance booking is also essential at peak times: around Christmas, the northern hemisphere New Year, and Tet, Vietnam's Lunar New Year, which falls in January or February.
Q:Can someone visit Ha Long Bay on a low budget?
A:Yes. A day cruise on a simple wooden boat, including meals, activities, and transfers from Hanoi, can cost just $50. But your cheapest option is to travel to Cat Ba Island, where hostel beds cost $10, explore by rented bicycle, and take a $30 day cruise.
Q:What is the best way to see Ha Long Bay?
A:A cruise is the best way to see Ha Long Bay, although many travelers find adjoining Lan Ha Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay less crowded and equally beautiful. Two-day or 3-day cruises let you explore at a leisurely pace and follow a different schedule from the day and half-day boats.
Q:Can I swim in Ha Long Bay?
A:Yes, you can swim in Ha Long Bay—although temperatures can be chilly in winter (December through February). The waters are polluted and can have off-putting amounts of plastic trash, but you’re unlikely to get sick. The beaches where cruise boats stop for swimming do not have heavy currents.
