Combo Istanbul tour

Very disorganised and chaotic. Seems a miney making exercise. Tour of old city was a talk literally in front of a map in hippodrome. Not clear Aya Sofia ticket wasn’t included and they wanted extra 5 euros to provide. There is no skipping of lines.

The basilica cistern was great. Guide was very knowledgeable and was organised well. Would definitely do the trip again. It is a lot of walking if you want to do it all in one day.

This tour was terrible, disorganised, late and rushed, didn’t get to see everything due to this. The palace was the worst as we entered then had to leave as we required headsets which had been enforced fir over a month

Badly managed tour

Topkapi Palace tour. Tour guide "forgot" to bring the headsets for the tour. When we asked what's next, he just defended himself by saying he's just the tour guide and we should complain to his company, who's btw "crap". Lol. Somehow we lost him in the big crowd later on and we decided to go back. Badly managed tour... Maybe we we're not lucky.

Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We got to skip the very long lines for the Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern which was a great time saver! Overall it was a great experience!

Hagia Sofia - free entrance. No need for the combo. You need to wait in the line among general public. Blue Mosque - free entrance. You need to wait in the line. No added value with VIP Combo Cisterne - good value for money (15€ ticket included) and escaped from the general line Topaki Palace - Good value for money. No line escape. No lines at all. General evaluation: the pass has the same cost of the tickets and you get a 10 min guide explantion in each spot.

Similar tours provided by independent operators. Meeting places scattered all from make shift stands, small coffee shops, etc. For first time visitors in search of where your tour guides are waiting in a sprawling area and jam pack with tourists is a challenge. Have to ask two kind hearted English speaking Turkish visitors to assist to look for their booth where they operate. It will help greatly, if Viator ask Tour Operator to provide location picture of where they are located. Shop keepers, , police, etc can point right direction. I almost gave up after wondering helplessly

One has to wait in long lines to enter the Hagia Sophia and the Palace (the skip the line only works at the cisterns). The guides were not great (could not understand their English/spoke too softly), I think getting audio guides is a better idea. I would not recommend getting this pass.

Terrible experience

Terribly terrible experience. Being tourist in the city, process of redeeming tickets is very very complicated. Wandered around to find the redemption place. Instructions are not clear. Meant to be VIP, turned out to be just routine. No audio guides provided. Try and make the process simple for tourists please. Best option os to turn up and get the ticket at the gate. No big lines. Such a waste of money.

This was quite a disappointment. It cost £40 per person for 3 places (Hagia Sophia, Topkapi and Basilica cistern). The last was closed, has been for over a year but there was no mention of that while booking. Instead we were taken to another smaller one and given a 15min talk which was not very informative. The guide wasn’t impressive. Topkapi palace was the same. It’s cheaper to buy the entry ticket and get an audio guide. You will come out better informed. The free walking tours are much better with superb guides. Even after a handsome tip they turn out much cheaper and superior

In the description is written the Basilica is under renovatiın and you will be taken to the neighboring basilica. Topkapi and Basilica allone cost 25 Pount admission. For 15 pound you joined 3 museums tours and 2 walking tours in total around 5 hours guiding service and received audio guides. Next time we recommend to book our historian tours. But be informed they cost more.

The tours were informative and allowed alone time to explore and photograph on our own. Mehmet & Ogulcan were very knowledgeable and Guldeniz was bubbly and brought a sense of freshness and excitement to the experience. It was unfortunate that the Basilica Cisterns were closed however the team found a suitable replacement to view and get a sense of what the water collection systems were like in that time period. I will definitely look up this tour again with my wife when I return and by that time Guldeniz will be leading the group.

This was perfect for a couple of days in Istanbul. You don't have to rush, because there's several different times you can go see the different sights, which is especially helpful if you fly in late or have an early departure. Really enjoyed the knowledgeable guides and being able to skip the long lines. I was traveling with my dad and this is perfect, because I didn't want him doing too much walking so it was great that we could split up the sights over two days.
