Everyone should do this tour. We had the best guide in Aby and the best food and chai we had in Jaipur in places we wouldn’t normally venture. Tour was the best thing we did in Jaipur.

Eddie was very friendly and patiently walked me through the busy streets, the food consists of different chaats, which were all very interesting and tasty. It's a fun tour, probably better enjoyed in a group than solo, but regardless i recommend it

The guide never turned...

The guide never turned up. I waited in the hotel reception (meeting point) for 1 hour. Even if there was confusion about the meeting point, the tour leader should have reached out to me/ responded to my messages. Still no word from the tour company, no word on a refund either. When you’re traveling solo, you don’t want to associate with a tour company you can’t trust.

Fun 2-ish hour tour

Very friendly tour guide. Picked us up at our hotel and took us around old Jaipur. We made around 10 stops at different food stalls, all very yummy. Got to see a lot of gritty but interesting parts of town as well. He even threw in a tuk tuk ride in the end to round off the experience.

Picky eater loves this food tour!

It was a wonderful way to see Jaipur, on foot, tasting the local food (the best version), hearing stories, jumping on tuk tuks, getting great photos. Our guide was incredibly patient with me as I am a VERY picky eater. I warned him ahead of time, it was not the food, just me, and he was so accommodating. Definitely take this tour even if you’re not an adventurous eater!

Having read some mixed reviews for various guided tours in India, I was a bit nervous about what I would encounter. I can say with complete confidence that my Food Tour with Abhi was the highlight of my entire vacation in India. The tour was fantastic on so many levels. Abhi put us at ease right away be explaining how he assures that all the food that we would experience would be safe to consume and completely delicious. Starting with some of the best Masala Chai in Jaipur, going on to various snacks, other street food tastes, a tour of the spice and vegetable markets and ending in some fantastic non-veg main courses, I have to say that each taste was truly delightful. I left the evening so full and couldnt have another bite! Besides the food experience itself, Abhi gives you an insiders look at India. He taught us the Indian way to cross the street, how to bargain with the sales people and what life was like living in Jaipur. Since Abhi has traveled throughout Europe, he has a special appreciation for the differences between western and Indian cultures and I felt at ease in asking any question on my mind. He was never judgmental and he was completely open. I recommend that for those who are interested in learning about and eating food in India, book this tour.

Abhi is a born tour guide and food aficionado. Immediately comfortable in Abhi's company, we sampled an amazing array of street food, starting with the most delicious Masala Chai in India we even went back for more the next day. Always at the ready with tissues and hand sanitiser, Abhi shared more than just his love of food. Abhi's refreshingly unscripted stories about India's lifestyle, history, culture, art and architecture were a welcome and unexpected bonus on this tour. To say that the food was delicious is a given, but what made all the difference was Abhi's ability to tailor his knowledge to suit the things that piqued our attention. 100 recommended!!
