What To Expect

Your full-day tour begins with pickup from your Jaipur hotel, airport, or accommodation at 6am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for Agra.

Enjoy an about 4-hour journey through India’s diverse countryside and arrive at in Agra ready to take in the sights. Greeting your guide in the lobby, then head to the UNESCO World Heritage site and New7Wonder of the World, the Taj Mahal. Learn about the world-famous tomb that stands testament to the timeless love story of Emperor Shah jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal.

Revitalize with lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to another UNESCO-listed site, the Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. Explore the maze of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers with your guide.

We would recommend this company to anyone...the communication was great from start to finish. The driver was great and we really liked out guide Ashok...excellent guide and nice person. Raj Sharma was very helpful with scheduling.

A bit pricey for what we actually...

A bit pricey for what we actually got. Included the obligatory visit to shops which we did not like. Lunch was awful. Tour guide was good though. Did the tour allow us to visit Agra as planned? Yes. Was this an amazing tour with regards to value and quality. No way.

So many shops the guide took us to that we were rushed at the Agra Fort. you need to say no to your guide for shops if you don't want to go to many.

Excellent day out from Jaipur. Collected at 06.15 giving us a bit of time at the Station to absorb the morning hubbub there, Train CC Chair class very adequate, and morning breakfast too. The pace in Agra is right, slow, it was May and the temperature was 44c, the tour of the Taj Mahal was comprehensive and very informative followed by a very welcome lunch buffet. Tour of Agra Fort in afternoon I think was as good as the Morning what an amazing place. Not to forget the views of the Taj from the back of the Fort in the late afternoon. Train back on time including chicken curry dinner, taxi driver waiting for us and, exhausted back at hotel about 22.00. Great day out, the Train is more relaxed than a road trip.

We were collected from our hotel at 06:00 and the driver took us to Jaipur railway station. We were nice and early so had plenty of time to work out which platform etc.We already new which coach we would be travelling in and with the help of the excellent overhead signs on the platform knew exactly where our carriage would be. The trip to Agra was painless, we were fed and watered at regular intervals, the seats were comfortable and on arrival at Agra railway station the carriage door was opened by our man .... brilliant! He introduced himself and took us in an air conditioned car to a 5 star hotel for a wash and brush up. We met our guide for the day, Rocky, who spent all day with us. What a lovely knowledgable man. Rocky you made our day! He took us round the Taj, engaged the photographer of our choice and in general looked after us all day. the Taj was fantastic! We were walking back to the taxi to go for lunch and Rocky asked us if we had enjoyed our morning, I said jokingly all I needed to complete the perfect morning was a cold beer. We got to the car and the driver Sanjay had 2 cold beers for us! After a lovely lunch in a good restaurant we went to watch marble being worked, very interesting, with no pressure to spend money and then on to Agra Fort, Rocky again informing us of it's history etc. We had a little time left so returned to the hotel for a comfort break and a coffee before being driven to the railway station for our return journey. We were escorted to our carriage and returned to Jaipur, bang on time, having eaten on the train. Our driver was waiting for us and drove us back to our hotel. I have to say this is by far the best tour we have ever been on. Every aspect of our day was 5 star. Thank you very much Sonny, driver Sanjay and above all our guide Rocky.

Very well organised with transport to the train, driver waiting with us until we departed. Someone there to meet the train and take us to a hotel to use the facilities before heading off to the Taj. Great guide at the Taj who took lots of wonderful photos for us. The only little issue was that it was a bit tight getting to the train back to Jaipur - we made it with only less than ten minutes to spare but we did make it, just a bit scarey. Driver was there to meet our train on time and delivery us back to our hotel.

Great Trip, excellent guide, would definitely recommend this trip. Train journey was a great experience, The Taj Mahal was amazing and we also visited the Agra Fort. The only disappointing part was the buffet lunch, I personally would rather have paid extra and had a proper lunch.

Disappointing but convenient way to see Taj Mahal and Red Fort from Jaipur. All arrangements work but collection was too esrly for train. Tour company in Agra -Nikita did not know my hotel was only 10 minutes from station so unnecessarily early start to a very long day this could have been easily checked with Google or local taxi company. 2 few sights 2 many visits to carpet factory , jewellery store tapistry and marble inlay factory's. Good demos but too much pressure to buy. Guide Englishs was not adaquate or suited for a well read inquisitive first language English speaker. Only got info at sights not in-betweenand difficulty asking questions as felt he liked to keep to his learned script Was very very repetitive and felt quizzed like child which got irrating. On the other hand When on his own the driver was more chatty and informative and responded to questions better. Got persuaded by guide to take a photography package as told without it I would fail to get good photos. What rubbish. I felt as if the guide thought I was there to take pictures and buy stuff not to learn and experience new things. Lunch limited to spicy food think it was ok. Convenient but disappointed . The tour can be improved.
