Beautiful outskirts of Jodhpur

A brilliant day spent exploring the communities outside of Jodhpur with our guide Ashok. Ashok picked us up from our hotel and on the way to the Bishoi villages he took us on a safari where we saw gazelles, a Nilgai and plenty of peacocks! We learned so much from Ashok as he drove us, we could ask plenty of questions and he was so knowledgeable, his English was amazing! We learned about opium at a families home, with the welcome of a masala chai. The pottery lesson was brilliant, and a great experience! We ended the trip at Ashoks family home, where we watched them weave and then had a beautiful home cooked meal, it truly was amazing! On the way back Ashok dropped by Jodphurs best masala chai place as we were discussing how much we liked it! It felt like nothing was too much, we could ask anything and felt really welcomed! Thank you

We had an amazing tour. Our guide Chhotaram was very informative and fun. We were able to engage and observe different traditions and the lunch with his family was beautiful
