Pickup details

Our meeting place will be the first exit from Katakolon Port. Upon your arrival at the port, I will be there to pick you up with our vehicle and provide you with a tour which will last 4-5 hours max. I will be holding a board with your name written on it, so you will easily recognize me. Out of the service area is available upon request.

Had a great day in Olympia. We visited the archeological sites and museum. Then after we visited the Kilo Bee tour and and olive oil plants. So very exciting and delicious. Purchased honey and olive oils.

Andreas was kind and thoughtful. He made sure we were comfortable and having a good time and was very thoughtful and attentive. We had several things we wanted to see and he called ahead to see which places were crowded when (lots of people in town for cruises) so he made sure we avoided the crowds and we got to see everything at the right time. The best part is the super comfy travel van is small enough to go where the tour buses can’t. While the buses unloaded a pretty good distance from site entry areas, Andreas dropped us off as close as you can get. He suggested additional things that were cool — like seeing the agriculture canals and the dam/river along the way taking back roads to see the variety of farms. We really loved his perspective as a local farm owner too. His family has been in the area a long time and he seems to know everyone! We had the best day at a port we weren’t super excited for — we can’t recommend this tour enough. Please keep in mind that you’ll need to book your site tickets separately, and if you go to Olympia archaeological site, we recommend you also reserve Virtual Reality glasses (they must be picked up in town) in a separate Viator tour option. Andreas knows the owner and he can take you to pick up and drop off glasses — they are super cool and make the ruins come to life. Visit Kremasti monastery if you can the view is incredible!! Ten out of ten!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Olympia was awesome, and the tour includes the other museum (which shows Olympics history), which most tourists miss. The monastery was breathtaking, and the honey farm trip was a lot of fun. This tour is not to be missed.

Wonderful private tour. I forgot the gentlemen's name driving us. It's part of Taxi Katakolo. At the end, he took us to to Vriniotis Resorts- a hotel 5 min from the port. It had lovely views of the sea on the terrace out back. The Kilos Honey Farm was great fun too!

We had a great day with our driver Nancy. She was a safe and professional driver who gave us great information about the site we visited. Plus she was great company to be around. We spent some time in Olympia after the touring the Olympic site and had a great time all around.

Great to be in a nice Mercedes car with just 4 of us. Our guide was Madeline who was nice and made the trip easy for us. Went to Olympia and then dropped us off in town for an hours lunch before a coastal trip back to a cruise ship. Overall a nice trip which was worth the price paid.

Andreas was such a great tour guide! He knew when to take us to avoid crowds. We really enjoyed getting to Olympia early. Definitely go see the museum there. Amazing artifacts were on display. Afterwards we were going to go to the honey farm but when he heard we couldn’t take it back to the states he made arrangements to take us to an olive oil factory where we toured how they make it and we’re able to sample and purchase products we could bring back. Afterwards he asked if we wanted lunch and took us to a great beach front real Greek restaurant. Best tour of our trip by far!
Amazing Olympia Excursion

Our guide, Nancy, was amazing! We were never rushed and avoided the crowds the entire day. We started off with the ruins and she advised us how long it should take so we could plan the rest of the day. She took us to an olive oil processing company who were already waiting for us and had a great tour. She then brought us to a private beach and we’re treated exceptionally well. We can’t thank her enough for making our trip to Olympia incredibly memorable!

Really friendly guy giving the tour. I believe his name was Kristoph. Very informative and worked with us as far as picking places to go with the time we had. There's already a route of course but there's was no problem changing up a needed. Had a great time and it was more than a pleasure meeting him. Greece is one of the most beautiful places I've been. Strongly Recommended. He took us to the Olive factory, Honey farm, Olympia, and he surprised us with a nice hotel with a private beach and restaurant for a quick bite. lotta fun and forever memorable. Thanks

Tour guide pleasant and stopped off to show us the grounds from above before getting us tickets and dropping us off. It was pretty much a self-guided tour; lots of reading and walking around, but I think overall, it was just ok. The ruins are very short and still in the process of recovery, so there wasn't a lot to see, except by using the overlay tour book he left with us; otherwise, it was hard to imagine what the buildings used to look like. the Olympic stadium was a flat piece of dirt. I thought the Roman Coliseum was much more impressive. I think the half-day tour was already too long & self-guided tour in the museum was just ok.

Fantastic experience from the beginning . Andreas was communicative anytime we contacted him before the trip and even did some research to take us to a place that I had an interest in going. He made our first day in Greece extremely memorable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and competent driver and guide ! Would love to come back and spend more time with Andreas.
An Olympic Day with Nancy!!

A wonderful day exploring after arriving from a cruise ship. Nancy picked us up a few feet from the cruise ship and away we went in her Mercedes. She allowed us to explore at our own pace as well as give suggestions on when and where to visit. She was quiet as well as informative all at the right times. Just what a private tour is all about. Our guide being there but not there. Olympia was fascinating and she provided a self guided book. Allowed us to roam freely at our own pace. Took us to an authentic Greek restaurant by the sea and then on to a wonderful lookout point. Great day!! Thank you Nancy.

Andreas helped us choose and see the very best of Olympus, sharing the history with such love for his home. He spoiled us in such a beautiful way, and explained the olive orchards, and first press, gifting us with oil from his families private orchard. He guided us to a lovely local restaurant on a peaceful local's beach, and a quaint monastery in the country. His kindness and humility are unparalleled ❤️
