A:Our trolleys come by approximately every 30 minutes, though times may vary slightly due to traffic conditions. Depending on demand and the time of year, our in-field dispatchers often put more trolleys in the tour loop at an increased frequency.

Q:What if the trolley is full when it arrives at my stop for the Key West Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour?

A:During peak times, we cannot guarantee that each trolley will have available seats however, our dispatchers will send another trolley directly to the stop for guests that were unable to board. The trolleys will usually arrive in less than 15 minutes.

A:Yes, strollers must be folded and stored during the tour. For the safety of the child, it is never allowed for the baby to ride in the stroller through the tour. Strollers in the aisle would also constitute a safety hazard.

A:Food and drinks are welcome. However alcoholic beverages are not allowed under any circumstance for the safety and comfort of all of our guests.

A:Service animals are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys. Animal species other than dogs, emotional support animals, comfort animals, companion animals, and service animals in training are not permitted.

A:Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated at any stop. We will fold and stow them during the tour. Several trolleys are equipped with a lift for non-collapsible chairs/scooters. Call the number on your ticket in advance to plan accordingly.

Good way to get around

We enjoyed being able to hop on & off the trolley whenever it came by or stopped. We never had to wait long, as different trolleys were active. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because it took us over to the new part of town, & the only stops there were two hotels. It's great if you are staying there, but for the rest of the guests, it's just a ride over to drop people off or pick some up. There's nothing there to hop off for. Had I known that, I would have hopped off before we went over & found my way over to the next trolley pick up on this side of the bridge.

We had 2 drivers, Louie and Grace. They were both very entertaining. Gotta love the “dad jokes.” This was our first time in Key West and the trolley was a great way to get a tour of the island.

Totally worth it

The trip to Key West itself was very worthwhile, in particular for the price. The lady on the bus was excellent and thorough as a tour guide and showed continuous enthusiasm and energy throughout. Certainly, she is a great tour guide and salesperson 🙂. I was however disappointed by her reaction after I changed my mind about getting the hop on and off at Key West, she showed very noticeable irritation and was shocked by her reaction after such a pleasant trip. I found it to be quite unprofessional and very in-polite. I say this with positive intent as she may not be aware of cultural differences and as a British person this was unduly disrespectful.
