What To Expect

With its many nocturnes, mazurkas and polonaises (based on Polish dance), Chopin's music is marked by a feeling of longing for his homeland, making this musical experience a wonderful way to enter the rich history and culture of Poland.

Begin your evening at the Chopin Gallery, located in the heart of Krakow's Old Town. Take your seat inside the 15th-century building, once inhabited by the huntmaster of the Royal Family.

Award-winning pianists will then take the stage and perform Chopin’s most celebrated pieces within the historic venue. After the 1-hour concert concludes, you can continue exploring the restaurants and nightlife in Old Town Krakow, or make your own way to your next destination from the venue's central location.

As a fan of Chopin, I have heard the music performed in various locations --- this performance was by far the best and most incredible. The pianist played from the heart and it translated to the audience. It was a powerful and moving experience and I would 1000% attend this event again.
Wrong time on tickets

The concert was nice and a talented pianist was playing. However the room got very hot in june and no air conditioning. Viator tickets had written the wrong start time to the concert on the ticket, so i advise buying tickets directly from Chopin gallery and not Viator
Great Chopin experience

The gallery is a little tricky to find but we searched it out beforehand so that we were able to straight there. It was a second floor small room, intimate but accoustically good. Drinks of prosecco beforehand and then a short warm-up pianist who was excellent. The main performer had little to say about any of the pieces, but was exceptionally talented in an hour long performance of a varied and non-stereotyped pieces. All in all a very worthwhile evening though short.

Tucked away on the 3rd floor (walk up) is a small auditorium where this concert is held. Complete with wine, it is a very enjoyable 1 hour. For the night we were there the pianist was a teacher of Chopin at I think, the Krakow University. Might have been a differant scholol. But he was very good. Very enjoyable evening

Perfect way to unwind from a very busy day sight-seeing. The whole family enjoyed this, especially the pieces they'd heard me play for them. Chopin has always been at the top of my list, and the pianist that performed did not disappoint.

Amazing performance . The host gave a brief history of Chopin . There was a brief intermission with sparkling wine. Of note , it was necessary to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the music room. I'm not sure if there was elevator access

The concert venue was somewhat disappointing, a bit bohemian, but the music... The music was superb, with an accomplished pianist whose program was a virtual Chopin's Greatest Hits list. He ended with the Polonaise in A Flat Major - that in itself was worth the price and then some. Highly recommended.

The piano player flew in the room one minute before the scheduled time. He quickly changed clothing in the next room. The room where the concert was held was very warm, seemed like over 90 degrees. The air conditioning was either not working or was not on. The piano player had no personality whatsoever. His piano playing was mediocre at best. VERY HOT and uncomfortable!
