1st, my guide/driver was outstanding.. as a last minute step in, Mr. Adnan was the real deal: kind, personable, a great conversationalist, knowledgeable, flexible and fun. This tour was the highlight of my KL stay!! A (private) tour that we tweaked a bit as I’d already seen some of the sites.. so we adjusted to a couple that I hadn’t. Batu Caves is a remarkable site both historically & ecologically. It remains in use (as educated by Mr. Adnan) for Hindu ceremonies & celebrations. We detoured to nature’s finest.. a quick hot springs & waterfall stop. This was nature/culture immersion at its best. Lastly Old City Kuala’s history, liveliness, multicultural presence seems the heartbeat of the city. Stop, watch & listen, learn, have a cup of tea, mosey, and appreciate your visit. Thank you Mr. Adnan for the lifelong memory….
