What To Expect

Your friendly driver collects you from your Kuala Lumpur hotel for this Sunway Lagoon Theme Park day trip from the capital. Stop at a leather and batik showroom en route to the adventure land and meet local artisans creating contemporary art using age-old techniques. Stop at the Petronas Twin Towers before arriving at Sunway Lagoon.

Head into the park, where you can find some 90 attractions and six adventure zones to explore: Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Extreme Park, Scream Park, and Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon Choose from thrilling rides like Pirates Revenge or the Grand Canyon River Rapids.

We were very disappointed that we had to visit a batik factory and a leather factory on our way to Sunway. The main purpose for us to pay for this tour was to go to the theme park. We were clearly not interested in stopping at these other destinations as we were not in a mood for shopping or sightseeing, but was rather excited about going to the theme park. Therefore, we were very annoyed that we had to waste time in these spots as we will then lose out on the time we will have to spend at the theme park. Also after the tour, the guide left us back at the Sunway Lagoon theme park and on calling him after about half an hour from the time he was supposed to pick us up, he said that he had already left us as we were not there. We were however, at the assigned place on time. Also the tour guide was rather rude about it. We had to find our way back to KL by taxi. We were very disappointed. It would have been better if the tour guide made an effort to ensure that all the tourists on the trip were brought back safely to their original destination. It is suggested that the tour guide at least obtains the mobile numbers of the participants and after the tour at least try to contact them before leaving them behind.

The tour was late starting due to guests not being ready for pick up from hotel. Would have liked to spent longer but we were picked up at 4,15. Excellent tour for all ages just not long enough.
