Great experience!

Had a wonderful trip to Pachacamac with my tour guide Jhoselin and driver Diego. They were right on time with my hotel pickup, and Jhoselin was very knowledgeable about the site! I learned many things about Lima also on the drive to and from.

Didn't show, overbooked, poor communication

They never showed. I found a message that said they were overbooked, but that was hours after I paid and it was late in the day. When I tried to contact them by Viator and by phone I got nothing. That left 3 of us. There were 4, but one person gave up soon after the time we were scheduled to be picked up. Don't use this company. I did get a message later in the day saying my money would be refunded.

When we did not get a response we proceeded to cancel the reservation for 1 person, not for 4 people as indicated in your comment. We hope you can understand this as we care about the comfort of our passengers on each tour.

Definitely worth a visit to Pachacamas

I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Jason was very knowledgeable about the archeological site of Pachacamas. Didn’t feel rushed. The car ride is some distance south of Lima but it was good to drive out of the city away from the main business district.

Overpriced and Basic

The tour was not the best especially for such a high price. Out of the 4 hours, we spent 2:30 in the car. The guide only studied information about Pyramids, other than that it was very basic and repetitive info, felt like I was 9 years old. The stop at Barranco is a total waste of time for learning just one story and taking photographs (when tourists visit the area on their already). The pyramids itself are interesting with nice views. On the way back, the tour guide stayed silent. Basically, you can take a taxi to the pyramids and hire a guide there - the cost will be 10 times lower, especially going with a group. If you've been on any tours before then I would not recommend it because of the cost, car time, and guide.

Informative and enjoyable half day tour with a great guide, Saul, and talented driver, Kevin. The tour was well paced, and Pachacamac (especially the musuem) was fascinating. We were even treated to an extra stop in Chorillos. Saul conducted the tour in Spanish and English without missing a beat. A very pleasant way to spend the morning.

Very interesting tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and nice. Liked the quick stop by the fishing place, which wasn’t expected yet interesting.

Guide was very knowledgable, and his English was OK. Very low key, which we liked. The museum is worth a visit, as are the ruins. The perspective on Inca vs. pre-Inca civilizations is wonderfully done. About a 45 min drive each way. Walking to the top of the pyramid of the sun is a bit of a slog, but the view is worth it.

Pamela (the guide) was wonderful. So well informed; so eager to share everything with her guests. She even did her best to help me practice speaking a bit of spanish. It is a lot of walking; I wish I had gotten a bit more sleep and had more comfortable shoes, but that was on me. I think this would actually be a better tour if, after Pachacamc, Pamela escorted me to lunch at a place she recommended and then an afternoon visit to the Larco Museum, so she could have more opportunity to tell her guests more about the culture, history and stories. I would have loved to have spend the entire day with Pamela!

Great guide. Extremely educational. What was excavated was amazing. Due to covid, we couldn’t walk through which was a little disappointing. Would love for Peru to excavate more of this massive treasure.
