Overview

Climbing Mt. Rinjani is a highlight of many visits to Lombok, but many routes are extremely challenging. Take the easiest option—although this still involves ascending more than 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) in a day—when you prebook this private guided hike from Senaru with a night on the crater rim. Your package includes meals, water, camping gear, and camping porters, but excludes national park fees.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. The views are incredible, the hike is challenging but rewarding and the staff are phenomenal. Rudi was an excellent guide and is truly a kindhearted person. All the porters and team were friendly and made the experience better for everyone in my group. The food was great and as a solo traveller I was comfortable and felt taken care of the whole time. If you do this trip , please don't forget to tip the guides, because they work so hard to make this experience the best as possible.

Great organization. Good equipment, thick mattresses and warm sleeping bag (which isn’t always the case in Indonesia as we’ve found out in Bromo…) It’s incredible how fast the posters carry everything up and down. They had plenty of food and snacks and water. Everyone was super friendly and the guide kept a paste I could handle :p

This was a beautiful experience. Our guide was so incredibly nice and encouraging. The hike was definitely harder than I’d imagined and it was amazing to have the guide and porters we had. The food was delicious. They definitely feed you well. And the tents were cozy. First time camping in decades lol so was a great experience. Thank you!

Was a wonderful experience! Excellent tour guides and porters! The trek is advanced, but all the other arrangements were all taken care of (food + camping gear/ supplies). Even had adjustments for dietary restrictions as we are vegatarian! Highly recommend Benji our guide. He was great!

We went as a couple. Hiking Rinjani, an active volacno, was a once in a lifetime experience. The sceneries are absolutely breathtaking. The team, Jo the organizer, Lim and the porters were super friendly and kind with us. They made sure that we lived the best hiking experience and took really good care of us. Totally recommend doing Rinjani with Jo and Lim group.

Aventure inoubliable pour le cratère du Mont Rinjani. Mention spéciale à notre guide Rudy alias Speedy et son frère qui nous ont accompagné dans le rire et la bonne humeur. Je recommande à 100%. J’avais un peu d’appréhension en partant tout seul mais la team était géniale ( 2 japonais et 3 français ). Attention : Le treak s’arrête à 2600 m et non au top à 3700m où il faut 3 jours pour y arriver !

Het was een van de hoogtepunten van onze vakantie. Een onvergetelijk avontuur. Onder begeleiding van onze gids Lim hebben we de top gehaald. Lim vertelde veel over de natuur en dat was voor de kinderen heel erg leuk. Ook de apen vonden ze heel leuk. Lim heeft een enorme passie voor de natuur en wist zich goed aan ons gezin aan te passen. Zijn positiviteit zorgde ervoor dat we de top haalden. De maaltijden waren heerlijk en afwisselend. Slapen in een tent aan de rand van een krater was heel bijzonder. De tocht met onze kinderen van 10 en 12 is te doen maar vergde wel doorzettingsvermogen. De schitterende vergezichten en het avontuur was de spierpijn meer dan waard. Gelukkig hadden we goed weer.
